We arrived at Teba around 5 PM, just before the crowds, and got ourselves a beachfront table with a lovely view—perfect timing. At the entrance, the seafood on display didn’t look the most inviting at first glance: the fish eyes were dry and foggy, and the squid had a yellowish tone, which made me a bit skeptical. But having experience with how seafood is handled in local markets, I wasn’t too alarmed and decided to trust the grill guy—and I’m glad I did. The food turned out to be good and well grilled, full of flavor, and we left satisfied. Service was attentive throughout, and the whole experience of enjoying seafood during sunset right on the sand is always something special in Jimbaran. By sunset, the beach was fully packed—every restaurant lining the shore was buzzing with diners. We stayed until after sunset, and it was a memorable evening overall. You can also take a nice walk along Jimbaran Beach afterward, a spot well loved by locals and visitors alike. A classic Bali moment—fresh seafood, ocean breeze, and golden skies.

I had high expectation after saw a tiktok video, yet the food is 🥹😭 far below expectation to our liking.. We waited almost 45 mins for the food to our table. Food we ordered: Squid with padang sauce Battered squid (calamary) Crab with padang sauce Cah kangkung Prawn with salted egg sauce Bakul of rice for 2-3 people, comes with 2 sambal and plecing kangkung Prawn with salted egg sauce is the only good one. The rest of food is just so-so and even the kangkung is still undercooked, i had hard time to chew. My husband said the calamary batter crisp is too hard, tho the squid itself is tender. While the crab is pretty fresh, yet the padang sauce is more like sweet and sour sauce (sadddd). But 280K for this crab dish is just so sad (i love crabs and only eat it on special occassion). Overall, i don't know whether the Nyepi Holiday caused this or not (seemed understaffed), whether the usual cook changed or what, they really need to work on the taste.....in this state, the taste is really not worth the price.

This is one of the better seafood restaurants in Jimbaran which comes with an amazing view of the ocean and sunset (if you are there at the right time). You can pick and choose what you want to eat, from the counter at the front. We went for two big red snappers (total around 1.5 kg), crabs, a kilo of tiger prawns (15-17 pieces I believe) and some rice. The fish was well grilled and comes with a sauce, and the prawns were all well cooked. Rice comes with sambhal. But the dish of the day was the crab - comes with two small corn cobs, and a spicy sauce which blew our brains out. Amazing !! Seating was easily available, and there's ample space on the beach to accommodate large groups. The only challenge might be to find a parking space, as it's a common space for around 20 other eateries in a row. Staff is friendly and the service was very fast. Cost was probably a bit on the higher side, but that's alright. Recommended place 👍

I'm extremely disappointed with the service at this restaurant. My first visit with my family was great, even excellent. Because of that, I came back for a second time with my partner, planning a special dinner. However, they ruined the experience. When we arrived, I had to ask someone in front because there was no one to direct us to our reserved outdoor table. When I was asked if I wanted to order at the front or at the table, I chose the table, and the staff told me to go to tables face to the beach. There, no server approached us to ask about our needs, leaving us feeling lost. I had to approach a waitress, and a staff member, who seemed very rude, directed me. He told me to go to the front to choose my seafood, despite me ordering a package to be served at the table. I felt extremely uncomfortable due to his rough tone. I believe servers should at least smile and be professional, regardless of their situation. At that time, the restaurant wasn't even crowded. I lost respect, was speechless, and felt truly uncomfortable. The staff member handed us the menu without explaining the package details, seeming rushed. Later, two servers approached me and asked for our table number, which I didn't know how to get since there was no information provided earlier. My partner mentioned that we had ordered two Askara Deluxe packages for 195k++. Less than 5 minutes later, the first rude staff member brought our drinks and table number only. After almost 15 minutes of waiting, only one package arrived with a different server. We thought the other package would arrive soon, but it didn't, and we had to ask another server, who claimed that our order was only one package. How could this happen? Two different servers had asked me the same question twice, and they still got the order wrong. It was infuriating.

The package that arrived was supposed to come with drink, rice, grilled seafood, and a fruit platter. However, the second package, which took almost 30 minutes to arrive, came without rice and fruit. I was already fed up and wanted to leave quickly. When I asked another server about the missing fruit platter, they brought us more watermelon, replacing 2 pieces with 8 pieces. The food was fine, but the service was extremely disappointing. I'm not bothered by waiting for food IF THE SERVICE IS GOOD AND FRIENDLY. Unfortunately, the first staff with a green shirt and shorts ruined the start of our dinner. I hope others don't have the same experience as me because it was truly frustrating. And I'm afraid I won't be...

As the places recommended by our driver had horrible ratings we consulted Google for an alternative. This was the highest rated seafood restaurant in the area but yet we still had a horrible experience. The setting on the beach is very nice however the grill smoke from all of the restaurants makes it difficult to sit there and if you have to sit inside you would basically sit in the smoke-filled room. The staff was unfriendly after giving us menus the waiter waited by the table for five minutes putting his hands on the table almost pressuring us to order immediately. When it started raining the neighbouring restaurants immediately brought out the umbrellas within a minute. No such action was taken here and when we asked for an umbrella they said they didn’t have any. Yet surprisingly a minute later an umbrella was brought to the table next to us.So the waiter had blatantly lied to us. In reality they were just shying away from doing the work of attaching umbrellas to tables using rope. The worst part of it was the food. We ordered a mixed platter for 320k (tax and service is not included in the price so +15%) The squid was cooked to dryness, lobster wasn’t fresh at all. Fish was ordinary, the shrimp didn’t have any meat. The platter contained 3 clams and they were the only actually eatable items. All items had incredible amounts of sauce/marinade to the point where you didn’t taste the seafood. If you put so much sauce on me and grill me, I would also taste like something. The highlight of the evening was the mixed Fruit “platter” they brought at the end. After not being able to eat the food we really enjoyed the fruit :) From countries which are rich in seafood and regularly having seafood, me and my friends could not understand how they can serve this kind of food as fresh. Going for the food: you will be disappointed. Going for a nice beer on the beach and the nice setting, with low expactations:...

Thus far the most disappointed place I have come across a restaurant with a signboard. Despite looking for any Staff to help with taking order, 30mins past and a old Staff came over to ask what we like to eat, when we mentioned prefer taking Ala carte meal, he just walked away and we never saw him again despite spending the next 20mins there. One of us caught hold of a female staff earlier, she told us to order our meal upfront despite fact there is no waiting staff there. Another older lady staff who came later told us to order our food upfront at the main entrance, which again baffled all of us. Jue like old male Stagg, both ladies walked away and kept pointing us to their invisible colleague whom they claim will help us. If we had infra Red capability we could have spotted this invisible person all of the staff kept pointing us to. Despite us telling them we just want to order additional non sea food, the art of Tai Qi surely has its base in this lousy restaurant culture. Even when we saw a younger male server, he avoided us when we ask him to get someone to help us. He just brushed us off. Seeing the hopeless Staff attitude we didn't wish to create any unpleasant scenes and just left as quietly and politely as we came in. No name tags just a plain black tee that's as black as their face. We didn't even dare to raise our voices and had always asked questions politely. If you like the food there, by all means be my guests. If you are looking for any additional food type on top of the food from the sea, be prepared for more than 1 hour of waiting if you have many more years of your life to waste waiting for any of the hopelessly useless staff there to even come to say Hi to you. Go ahead should feel otherwise. For me, it's not even worth another second of my...
