First of all, I’d say that this review I write about our vacation, which was in January of 2024.||||Villas were good-looking, easy too see that there weren’t new ones, but in the same time it was easy to see the big care about them — everything was clean and in great/good condition – 7 out of 10||||Breakfast – we got staff daily, which made in for us inside our villa, at the kitchen. The cookers were smiling, kind. Quality of the breakfast - average Balinese — 6 out of 10 (meal), 10 out of 10 (staff)||||Personnel – as I said before, the cookers were kind and smiling, and these characteristics can be applied to the others. No complaints. 10 out of 10.||||Furniture – due to the fact, that Bali has extremely huge humidity climate it would be obvious to suggest that all the wooden furniture would be suffering from it. In my case it happens with kitchen. That’s why I give it 6 out of 10.||||Inner yard – this is the killer fitch of this place, all that I can say about it - great. There were pools for you, for fish, for turtles(!!!!!), high privacy lvl (high fence), outdoor shower. Certainly 10 of 10.||||Conclusion ||Generally speaking, in complex with the points which I wrote above I can conclude: my honest score of this place is 7.7/10||||P.S. All the photos in my review are from videos, that’s why quality of em could...
Read moreAlthough my review is not about this hotel directly it is my opinion that this hotel chain should be avoided as a whole. The ill practices of the chain should be highlighted to potential clients.
We were shopping while shopping by a friendly gentleman who asked if we were interested in a card about promoting tourism in Bali. We accepted the card and realised instantly this was a mistake. The card itself appeared to be a ‘game’ to win prizes. He advised us that in order to collect the prizes we must accompany him to the hotel running the event - he was very pushy and kept telling us this would help him keep his job. We were put in a free taxi and googled the name of the hotel and immediately saw a number of similar reviews that this was a scam. We arrived at the location and were told we would need to sit through an hour long presentation to ‘win the gift’. We felt very uncomfortable and asked to leave. We declined the free taxi back to our hotel and when leaving felt accosted by the sales representative that had brought us.
It’s disgraceful that theses scams are freely happening around Bali. Wasting tourists time and an overall frightening experience. It does the opposite of promoting...
Read moreMet a guy on the street in jimbaran, he gave my girlfriend and I a voucher to open which was from some company called peninsula. Guess what, I won 10 mil IDR. The guy mentioned he is calling his manager who is going to escort us to the hotel, where we have to just go and collect the prize. While I was on the way the manager gave me another voucher and said, “ oh sir wow, you are so lucky, now you have 3 more options of gifts to choose from. Then the series of questions started, we clearly mentioned that we are not married and are on a holiday. The salesperson kept pushing us say that we are a married couple or at least living together. Later, we were taken to the hotel and made us meet another supervisor who started to explain the process, when I mentioned that we had another voucher which said that we had won 10 mil idr which was from peninsula. They started to speak in Balinese, which threw me off completely. Wasted like an hour of our time in the cab ride and over 30 mins at the hotel. Worst part, did not get any vouchers as well as my partner was feeling sick and we were told that we have to stay there at least an hour to get...
