Annie’s Kitchen — Restaurant in Kuta

It was okay. I wont return. It's more expensive than I've paid elsewhere for the same thing. The chef sat with me and told me which restaurants you can and can't trust, covering many aspects. Probably honest, but I don't anything im told in Bali (once you've heard it, you've heard it all). I've eaten at warungs she said to avoid because she said bali belly and general hygiene... I've eaten at those restaurants mentioned and never been ill. I take no precautions either. I believe she meant well though. Now I've tried it, i won't be back:- for price and serving size compared to other places. Ayam Nasi Goreng had maybe 2 very tiny pieces of Ayam (chicken), shrimp spring rolls, again tiny probably 1 hour old shrimp! Dont waste your time or money, far better places and...

Came here Tuesday night and ordered cha siu pork, fried rice, wonton soup, fries, noodles and drinks totalling aprox $30,0000 ($30 AUD) with the cha siu pork being a third of that at $10,0000 ($10 AUD)

What came out was 5 slices of EXTREMELY dry pieces of pork that looked like it had been sitting out on the counter for 3 days.That’s $2 per slice of pork the size of a cucumber slice that looked like it had been dehydrated. The waitresses didn’t even dare make eye contact with us as they knew how disgusting it looked and ran off after the plate was placed down on the table.
