HIDDEN GEM JAPANESE FUSION BY THE RIVER THAT CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD

found this hidden gem on tiktok, the place itself is located deep inside the neighbourhood from the main road.

Bily has quite a compact number of menus being offered which to my surprise are all very much interesting. most of their menus are fusion from different countries:

1. Spicy Creamy Curry Pork: this caught me off guard. who wouldve thought a japanese meal being combined with indian curry would taste this amazing? it has quite a distinct herb flavour that i couldn’t get my head around.
2. Pork Miyosaki: best comfort food you would get! i did not expect the strong taste of home cook pork glazed with miso would be this good!
3. Sweet and Sour Pork: another one that caught me off guard. never have i thought sweet and sour pork would be served crispy just like crispy beef. it was okay, not rejecting it nor liking it.

Pork selection was pretty great, the misoyaki was really great some meats were a bit gamy but the taste was superb. Karage was okay feels like they smells like it was staying a lot of time in the freezer. Tamatoji was i was expected sweet soup and pork katsu on top. Sadly when i was about to order the burger they were sold out.

Drinks was ocha that had a free refill but no ice to add more (prob need to ask for the staff to refill the ice)

Definitely come here at 5pm or else it will be so hot that you don't enjoy the food. Place was really direct with the sunlight.

I recently tried the Spicy Pork BBQ, and it did not disappoint! The pork was incredibly juicy, perfectly cooked, and paired with just the right amount of kimchi. The spice level was mild, providing a nice kick without being overwhelming. Everything about the dish was spot on, and it’s definitely a must-try.
