Dripz coffee — Restaurant in Kuta

Let me be honest. It definitely wasn’t the best coffee experience I've had.

Went in at 7am and it wasn't exactly open--the staff saw us at the cashier waiting to order but kept mopping the floor. He then went on to take the take out order of the guy who came after us, which slowed down the whole process even more.

After the guy got his three flat white’s, a staff finally started working on our order, but now she began to roll back and forth my chocolate croissant in her bare hands for no apparent reason… No no, it was an already-baked croissant, which only had to be warmed up.

I was watching her for about 20 seconds as she touched and squished my croissant before tossing it in the toaster (Yes, I was counting). 🤮

It was enough to make me lose my appetite. Paid 60k...

We came back here 3 times over our trip. Once for breakfast and two dinners. Each time the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. During one of our evenings it's started bucketing down outside, the waitress come up to us and asked us how we were getting back to our accommodation which we informed her we would be walking - a moment later she was back with an umbrella for us and just said to drop it back in the next day or two, we were so grateful.

The food isn't exactly top tier but is in no way expensive, so considering the price paid (very affordable) I would say it is more than tasty enough considering I've paid more only to be disappointed...

The coffeeshop located just at the left front of Eden Hotel, where I stayed for 4 nights for our meetings. The hotel gave us a welcome drink voucher at this outlet but I skipped it since it was a cocktail drink (with a touch of alcohol).

I tried their gelato and their cafe latte. Should've gone for their cappuccino since the latte was just okay for me for a price of IDR 42K. Loved their strawberrry gelato, though! The mixes of sweet and sour was perfect! The chocolate gelato as also nice and not too sweet, but not enough dark chocolatey for me 😁. The barista was nice and friendly too.
