Unfortunately got food poisoning from here. We arrived and each only ate one plate. When we got home to our villa, we all got sick that night and had to call the doctor. We had to pay for doctor call out fee, medication etc. Brazilian BBQ isn’t ’cheap’ to begin with so it ended up being a very expensive night as we had to pay for 3 x food, doctor fee, medications etc. Have eaten at the Seminyak location without any issues - did notice that there was a big difference in the quality of food. Food in the buffet area looked like it had been sitting for hours without being replenished and was not at temperatures to kill bacteria. Dried out etc. was not nice to eat - hence us only eating the one place each. 3 of us got sick, not just one person (which could be from anything else) and the doctor said it definitely was from the buffet as they had several other calls that night from the same place. Service was nice, the people were lovely, vibe was alright. Just that the food wasn’t nice and made us sick. Wouldn’t go back here. Seminyak location, yes - been there several times without problems &...
Read moreOn a recommendation a outlet of years ago I went to the Aussie Brazilian BBQ and it was ex excellent. We bought the Angus beef package and were served excellent high grade beef and other meats. I told others when I got back home who were not so impressed. On this trip to Bali we had a group booking of 6 people. We again bought the engus beef package expecting the same quality but it wasn't. The service was quite slow and average quality beef was served except maybe for one serve of decent sirloin. The other meats were try and sometimes tough. The salad bar was also a lot smaller and of less selection than before. They also charged an exorbitant cost of 200,000Rp for corkage of one bottle of wine that was a bit steep. we did buy drinks etc.. there. on top of that the signatory rated glazed pineapple was not offered which was last time. Unfortunately this place has gotten stingy with their food and have thrown their previously good brand out of the window. I will never return and will UN recommend to other travellers as its not...
Read moreBeing an Aussie and having lived in Brazil for a decade, it was almost logical to try this one out. Unlike in Brazil, there a 3 "levels" to choose from, depending which one you chose, the kind of meat and kind of quality comes to your table (rodizio, all you can eat like in Brazil). We, a group of 5, chose 2x top level and 3x the medium option. The quality of meat was very good, the buffet had decent options for sides but can't compete with what you usually find at higher priced churrascarias in Brazil, I.e.I couldn't find fejuada made with black beans. The staff was super friendly, the place itself reminded a bit on simpler churrascarias you would find in outer city suburbs in Brazil and lacked "coziness". The prices are certainly on the higher side compared to other restaurants in Bali, but that was expected (imported meat and all you can eat). Would I recommend that place? Yes, I you are hungry, if you are happy with the simple setup and if you are prepared to spend more money than you would for a...
