Rolls and Bowls — Restaurant in Kuta

Our second visit in 5 days and Rolls and Bowls did not disappoint. Everything on their menu is cooked from scratch and is hand made. The ingredients are all top quality and the portion sizes are great. The owner and her cook/assistant are welcoming and hospitable. They happily shared the best places to get other food we wanted, a taxi driver, baby sitter, local malls and suggested attractions we should visit. Our kids were sad when we said goodbye. I think they forgot my husbands order because I was done with my salad before he got up and asked about his order. He ordered a corned beef salad roll, and the roll was stale and fell apart when he was eating it. The sandwich did not have any flavor. It was either missing salt or a sauce. Overall rating 2 star, had coleslaw salad and been sick all night, definitely would not recommend. Also we had burger which was very poor. Not enough shade sat in the back street would highly not recommend, even the owner brags she gets her food from WA brings it in the plane then goes back so to me that shows you the food is NOT fresh as she goes back every 60 days.
