Today I ordered a Lokal with the lot burger. The meat pattie was raw. Sent it back, the next one came out the same and they told me that meat in Bali is red even when it’s cooked. Consensus amongst other regular Bali travellers is that the patties are placed on the grill frozen, the outside cooks and the inside defrosts but doesn’t cook. Not a pleasant dining experience on either occasion.
