Really good location for those wanting to stay in a hotel central in Legian, close to the beach, reputable restaurants and cafes surrounding the hotel, and all walking distances to main shopping streets/lanes/alleys in Legian and Seminyak.
Hotel staff were always happy to assist with any request and were always friendly and punctual with their response/assistance.
Stayed in their upstairs room (I think room 214) facing south towards the pool, great for pool view and privacy and able to sit on balcony without getting blasted by the sun, yet having a little bit of afternoon sun while you lay on the balcony sofa. Modern hotel rooms yet still incorporating traditional Balinese wooden sculptures and decor throughout.
Hotel is situated next door to a Minimart and across the street is Circle K, around the corner from minimart and down Garlic lane is Pharmachem to the right, perfect location to access medical necessities and convenience store items during your stay in less than two minutes. Not to mention, the beach is down the end of the street...
Read moreDecent. Clean. Staff are very welcoming & friendly. But overpriced but is close to Beach and some very good restaurants (eg. the lokal). location is just full of bars with Australians & not a nice area overall.
Hotel room cost 960k for a room without breakfast and bad value. Moved to the Sulis hotel which has a worse rating and cheaper but I think Sulis hotel (close to Airport across from holiday inn) is much better than Rama garden, has a massive rooftop pool, massive room with private balcony where as Rama garden was overlooking other balconies. Sulis hotel for 700k (without breakfast) was cheaper & better than Rama. Rama garden is a hotel for more Australians & adults who like drinking early in the morning which is not a nice look if you bring kids.
Thanks to the staff in Rama...
Read moreI am allergic to egg. I asked the waiter if the crispy fried noodles were egg noodles as it was the first time I had ordered this dish, he said yes they are egg noodles but he seemed unsure of his answer, I said are they rice noodles, he said yes yes they are rice noodles. When the dish came out they were clearly egg noodles. This waiter lied to me so I would purchase the more expensive dish, I was deciding between this and one half the price. He knew exactly what I was asking. Terrible service in this regard. My partner had the lobster and loved it. Staff are incredibly pushy for every customer to purchase the lobster as it's minimum 60$ per serve. Luckily it's what my partner actually wanted to eat and the only reason we went there in the first place. Unprofessional. We will...
