So I reserved the omakase session via Whatsapp (you can find the contact in their instagram, chill) and their response was pretty swift and direct (it's the owner replying so, of course). I arrived ahead of time and greeted by Mr.Komang at the receptionist, who also inform the crew via headset and chat me up with casual topic to make sure I didn't get bored while waiting. I got in and holy-f, the interior is lit 🔥. Remind me of the secret lair of yakuza boss I saw in movies and animes (I know, my taste in movie is a bit distinct, don't judge). I'm the only customer there at the time, so do imagine how fantastically cinematic it gets when you saw the barista counter at the center with only 2 crews at the back. See ? And then the session started. They offered the coffee ground for sniff test, and explained each method used and how it's supposed to taste like. In summary, about 80% I agree with the expected outcome but the remaining 20% well, let's just say : perception may differ and that's okay. I love their experimental take on how to create coffee beverage to the different level (I feel like a test subject in an RnD laboratory, which is awesome 🙌🙌🙌 - If it's coffee experiment, I'm a perfect rabbit). I do feel the need to extend my appreciation to the crew which also very welcoming, like they gave this old-friend-long-time-no-see kinda vibe.
