Nyoman Beach Bar& Asmer — Restaurant in Kuta

Food was average at best — nothing memorable. Prices are high, which I expected in a tourist area, but what really annoyed me was the shady way they charged us.

We spent over 500K on food and stayed for about 3 hours, using one of their lounge chairs. No one told us there would be a charge for the chair — we assumed it was included since we were paying customers at their restaurant. When the bill came, they suddenly added a charge for the chair. Absolutely ridiculous.

It honestly made me a little sour, and I hate feeling that way. If they had just told us from the start about the chair charge, I would’ve been totally fine paying — we didn’t complain. But the way it was handled left a bad taste. It’s hard to enjoy a place when trust is broken, even over something small. It’s the kind of thing that changes how you feel in your heart, and that’s disappointing.

To be honest, a lot of us probably wouldn’t even mind paying extra if things were communicated clearly. But random charges added at the end with no explanation? That just doesn’t sit right with me. It turns a good day into a frustrating one

There are plenty of other beachfront restaurants right next to it with better food, free seating, and honest service. Don’t waste your time...

Had already had dinner elsewhere but thought I could squeeze in some prawns. Specifically asked if I could get a couple of jumbo prawns & before ordering i asked the price per prawn - 30K. Yeah ok. But that certainly didn’t correspond to what was charged. So for 2 prawns the bill was just under 110k. When I pointed it out I was told “Come on it’s only Ten Bucks.” Rip off…& apparently this place has a reputation for this sort of thing. Just beware. And the prawns were pretty...

Don’t let the plastic plates put you off! Without a doubt the best meal I’ve had in 20 trips to Bali. Huge debate between my friend and myself as to what was the best dish- charcoal grilled red snapper or the king prawns half with garlic butter and half with tomato and chilli and we had a steamed crab that came a very close runner up. Fresh tasty and perfectly cooked. Atmosphere as the sun set and the breeze off the water was fabulous too. We’ll be back (probably...
