Burger Buzz Pizza Pasta — Restaurant in Kuta

As usual, the first thing I did when we landed and got to the hotel wifi, was inspect the area for best pizza candidates. After immediately tapping all of the places that sounded like they would be in the running, I happened upon Burger Buzz. Not only was it crazy conveniently walkable from our hotel (and right on the beach practically) but it turns out they have an Italian chef who was previously employed elsewhere (before covid put an end to that) but his followers apparently followed him here due to his expertise.

The only downside to finding this place first, has been that nothing else has much of a chance of living up to this pizza! We went twice that day, and unfortunately it was only a 2.5 day visit to this part of Bali (beginning a 2 week tour of 5 different regions) and they were closed the 2nd full day we were there. We definitely would've been back at least one more time for the burgers. I had a most excellent pepperoni pizza first (while the wifey chose a chicken burger that almost made me jealous if not for my unhealthy pizza addiction) and we both got takeout pasta later that evening to enjoy in front of the TV.

All were above and beyond anything I was realistically expecting to find, especially so quickly into our trip! The chef and operators of the joint were friendly and great to talk with, and we wish we had more opportunities to do so over their food. You cannot pass this place up if you're in town; Kuta area in general needs more time spent in it, and next time when we do that we will likely try everything they have on the menu (with repeat pepperoni pizzas sprinkled in...

Ma la vera sorpresa è l’hamburger. Non è semplicemente buono, è eccezionale. La carne è succulenta e cotta a puntino, accompagnata da ingredienti freschissimi e pane morbido. È di dimensioni davvero generose, il che lo rende un pasto completo e appagante. Per chi cerca qualcosa di diverso dalla pizza, ma con lo stesso livello di qualità, l’hamburger di questo locale è una scelta imperdibile.

L’atmosfera del locale aggiunge un tocco speciale all’esperienza. L’ambiente è accogliente e familiare, con un design che mescola dettagli italiani e tropicali.
