Me and my friends randomly picked a place for dinner reunion at Pizza Hut Galeria Mall (because we are getting tired of these new concept restaurants and those crowded spaces) and turned out, it was a satisfactory experience!

Firstly, the location of the restaurant within the Bali Galeria Mall is really accessible. It made it a convenient choice for our group, as we were already in the mall for shopping and entertainments.

The menu at Pizza Hut offers a wide selection of pizzas, pastas, salads, and sides. As a group, we decided to order a variety of pizzas to share. They also served for vegetarians!

In addition to the pizzas, we ordered a couple of pasta dishes and some appetizers. The pasta dishes were satisfactory, but nothing extraordinary. The flavors were decent, although the portion sizes seemed a bit small for the price. The appetizers garlic bread is so savory and tasty as usual.

One aspect that maintain the same in every Pizza Hut outlets was the attentive service provided by the staff. They were attentive and responsive though our friends was asking too much for the best deals and best packages for the pizzas. Despite the restaurant being busy, they managed to maintain a high level of service.

When you're abroad in a foreign country and spot an American or western restaurant, what you hope is that if you choose to eat their food, it wwill give you the same corporatized taste you'd have gotten if you were back home. Even though these restaraunts have a wider offering of food including rice, pasta and bread dishes you'd never see in America, you still hope that the basic food tastes like it does at home.

WELL IT DOESN"T.

I'm not criticizing the restaurant. It's a nice restaraunt and well kept. The service is with a smile - young Bali girls who aim to please.

My problem is the food taste and texture is completely off.

My Pizza had sausage, beef, cheese and tasted almost exactly like the regular local food. There was nothing "Pizza hut" about it.

I understand that the restaraunts probably rely on local farms for ingredients, but it just doesn't work well. I had the exact same problem in the Philippines. American food doesn't work well in some parts of Asia.

Prices are OK. I paid $11 for a regular 6 sliced sized Supreme and 2 sodas. I don't see myself eating...
