Warung Men Tompel — Restaurant in Kuta

I visit the food court every weekend and enjoy the time i spend here....however..everytime im here, its a battle to stop this restaurant from spaying water with a hose all over the car. Today the same happened again and i approached the staff member(rude short man) and told him abruptly to stop spraying my car down with a hose. He then responded with hostility, telling me we should take this outside. Now, ive lived in this country for 6 years and know full well what happens when this is taken outside....i get problems when physically defending myself. I wish the simple solution was available. Its not, so here is my response. YOU DO NOT SPRAY WATER ALL OVER SOMEONE ELSE'S VEHICLE. All around the world its considered extremely rude because of various reasons and you need to ask permission to do so.

Sebaiknya, jangan menyemprotkan air pada mobil orang lain tanpa izin. Hindari: Jangan menyemprotkan air, cairan pembersih, atau benda lain ke mobil orang lain tanpa izin karena bisa merusak cat atau membuat kotor.

Jika terpaksa: Jika Anda memiliki alasan kuat untuk melakukan sesuatu pada mobil orang lain (misalnya membantu), mintalah izin terlebih dahulu kepada pemiliknya.

This above is how indonesians consider the matter, so your angry, threatening behaviour is way beyond what you would even say to an indonesian, let alone a foreigner in your country. Ultimately, this is my answer to wanting to fight in the street. This is the consequence and without an apology it...

Staff (the short guy) was very rude - had a very bad attitude and he kept squirting water on our car with a hose. My husband approached him and told him not to keep spraying the car, then this guy responded badly and in a threatening manner, saying he wanted to take an argument outside. This is terrible and disrespectful behaviour and this spraying down the car has happened multiple times now....
