Wayan & Friends Legian — Restaurant in Kuta

My hubbie chose this one based on proximity to our accommodation. It looked fantastic inside - very comfy seats, plenty of fans to keep the heat at bay. We were there very early - around 5pm so not many people, but nice music playing and the very kind and attentive ladies working front of house made the atmosphere welcoming. They had a great deal on cocktails - so we had 3 for the price of 2. My husband and I each took one - Japanese skipper (I wasn’t a fan) and put a colada (yum and not too heavy with cream, very refreshing). My kids each had a meal - calamari (very much enjoyed by my son) and Margherita pizza (my daughter is very fussy and didn’t like the Tomatoe on each slice - in the end she said it was a bit plain which I agreed with - maybe the cheese or perhaps the pizza sauce could have been a bit more flavoursome. I thought the tomatoe helped but very dependent on your taste). I ended off the cocktail deal with a tiramisu martini which was absolutely delicious - highly recommend! Wayan & Friends Breakfast legian Morning Magic on a Plate! It’s 7:40 and we were just hungry . If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then Wayan & Friends just made my day legendary. Great menu options, I had a hard time deciding what to have. I chose the crispy pork belly with baked potatoe and veggies. It was absolutely delicious. Fantastic flavour. Tender and juicy and the crackle was crispily perfect. My mocktail drink was excellent.

The venue is lovely. We Sat at the big timber bar at the front people watching. The seats very comfy with cushions.

The reason 4 instead of 5 stars.... My partner had the t-bone which was disappointing, it was very thin and well done (asked for medium), and cold... Perhaps the plates could be pre-heated.

I'm happy with the choice I made and would recommend the crispy pork...
