We were walking towards our hotel in double six when we passed by this place. I had previously done some research here and it was lunch hour so I thought why not try them.

Right decision. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff was nice. Surprised me to see it empty when we strolled in.. it deserves better but maybe it's different during dinnertime or on different days. Everything we tried are worth coming back for, and you can see from the presentation(see image) and taste they were prepared with heart. Gotta love effort. I felt the price of the sapi rendang was high but what the hell.. I'm a sucker for beef. It was a nice touch by the lady boss(I assume) to walk over and thank us as we were leaving.

Try saving your lunchtime tummy for this place if you're around the area. I will go back over and over again. As Bali prices get increasingly inflated each year, hopefully places like these can remain wallet friendly.

Will return to check, must have that gado gado again. Hopefully there will still be a table left for us then. Meanwhile, eat...

WoW !! We decided to eat here following the good comments and we don’t regret it ! It is the best one warung we had during our stay (18 days and it is the second time we come in Bali). We are french so a little bit exigeant in term of food, and truly go eat here you won’t regret it ! I forget to put reviews for most of the restaurant we did but for this one I can’t forget because I have to say how much it is good !! We asked for a special vegetarian curry coconut milk sauce, not on the menu, and they did everything they can to give us this sauce. And... it was incredible (the taste). The Nasi and mie goreng are the best in town ! We came here our last evening in Bali because we wanted to be sure to be satisfied. So if you want to be sure of the great taste of the food, go here ! Haven't got a lot of experience with local Indonesian food. Have had better Indo food in other countries. But it was tasty, reasonably portioned, reasonably priced by local standards, and definitely was the best I've had in Bali so far. Friendly staff, clean and pleasant settings. Centrally located in Legian. Plus complimentary sweet potato chips and home-made chocolate pudding for dessert.
