One of the legend Coto Makassar in town. I order meat and lung and for me the fried beef lung is never wrong. Dark caramelized, savory and balance with the broth soup. I came during saturday on lunch time, the stall look busy but not crowd. I still easy to find empty table. After sit, the crew will come and take your order and comeback with 3 ketupat and 2 burassa (rice cake cooked with coconut milk and wrapped with banana leaf). Don’t forget to ask additional green onion and fried shallot to make your Coto more flavorful. The ambience is hot and sweaty, you have to choose right spot to get air fan. Moreover, It hasn’t parking space, so better for you to go here by public transport or Ojek or online transport.

First impression, The place is Extremely HOT and HUMID, even though they are lot of electric fans in the ceiling. During the crowded time, If you like sauna while eating your meal, this place is the right place for you to dine-in. There's so many options of "Parts" that you can choose (i.e: Meats, Lungs, Hearts, cheeks, tounge, etc) I ordered Meats and Lungs, the texture of the meats are quite tender. The soup is not too greasy, very rich of spices, The serving time is not very long to wait. The staffs were quite helpful yet sometimes you have to ask for any condiments (fried shallot and spring onion) or some "Ketupat" or "Buras" Overall in my experience, the taste is just the same as another "Coto"

I recently dined at Warung Coto Makassar in Makassar City, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. The Coto Makassar was incredibly delicious, rich with flavor, and filled with tender pieces of beef and spices. The presentation was appealing and made the dining experience even better. The burasa, served alongside the soup, was soft and flavorful, perfectly complementing the rich broth. The addition of fresh lime wedges added a tangy twist that elevated the overall taste. The atmosphere of the warung was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Warung Coto Makassar to anyone visiting Makassar City for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience."
