Chingoo Korean Food & Space — Restaurant in Malang

Been coming here since the Covid era. There’ve been a few changes, and I really miss their special ramyun. Sadly, it’s no longer available.

🍛 F & B (+) Haemul Jjigae hits just right on a rainy day. The rich, spicy broth with shrimp, mushrooms, and veggies warms the throat perfectly. Best enjoyed with warm rice. (+) Mandu is pretty tasty, with a flavorful meaty filling. (+) Bulgogi Platter is juicy and flavorful, perfect for sharing with a friend. (+) Lemon Tea has always been my favorite here. After something spicy and rich, this hot and tangy drink is the perfect refresher.

Service and atmosphere is okay, i've been here a couple of times Staffs are helpful, their service is quick

But this time, the food is just really dissapointing, they messed up my order

Yesterday i ordered blueberry sulbing, the description on the menu says it should be using cheesecake, but they just use regular, only small 4 square piece of 'gold cake', also the taste is kinda meh, very very very plain, just like plain ice milk, just a little bit sweet from the blueberry syrup, and the blueberry itself isn't sour or sweet at all

I also ordered some jigae, forgot the name, it is a seafood jigae, again, the description on the menu says it should have tofu, but when the food comes out, no tofu at all, very little filling, just 1 shrimp, 3 squid ring, 5 mushroom slice, and that's it, and the soup itself is very thin and weak

I don't know what's wrong, maybe it was just because after Lebaran holiday, maybe their cook isn't the regular one, or maybe they are out of some food ingredients But i definetely...

The place is actually nice. It's better to come here when it's still bright, during the day and evening. The atmosphere is dark at night and the lighting is a bit dim. The dining room is either fully indoor or semi-outdoor. There are plenty of tables available.

The food is delicious, especially the moza chicken. The BBQ seasoning is also absorbed. Too bad many of the menus are empty Even though there are menus I want to try :(

The service is very poor. If we want to order or add more, we have to go to the cashier because there are no waiters available in every room. There is also no bell for the waiter. The portable gas ran out and we had to go to the cashier. The food took a long time to be delivered, and the bingsoo had to be asked for. not delivered directly to the table along with other menus :(
