A small milk stall inside the traditional market! I was surprised to see a pastrami sandwich on the menu, but didn’t get to try it since it was sold out when I arrived. Instead, I tried their chicken parmesan for 25k. Pretty pricey considering the portion is small, and it tasted slightly burned (not sure if it was just the spices or a smoky flavor?), but it was still okay. I also tried their milk-flavored green tea — very refreshing and tasty, and not too sweet. Would love to try their other milk variants next time! Sempat mencari2 di manakah gerangan, karena seingatku ada di sebelah nasi bakar. Oh ternyata udah pindah, sekarang di jejeran penjual pisang. Tempat barunya memang lebih luas, tapi entah seems a little bit off to me because it is right beside lapak penjual ayam segar. Maybe it's just me.

Ok let's talk about the food I tried: bitterballen and pisi. These finger food are delicious. Bitterballen is crunchy outside and soft inside, but honestly the outer layer is too thick, baluran tepungnya terlalu tebal, mungkin kuatir penyok ga bulat sempurna kali ya. Dagingnya sedikit, and hopefully you can add more butter to the dough (ragout) to make it softer and creamier. The mozzarella inside is too small 😅

Now the Pisi. If I'm not mistaken, Pisi is Turkish fried bread, using yeast or yogurt and baking powder as leavening agent. The problem is, the Pisi dough is a chewy and hard to bite. It's like the leavening agent (the yeast or baking powder) doesn't work. I hope you can improve the dough recipe 🙏 The filling is pastrami & mozzarella, so good, tapi agak hambar. Kalo utk makanan yg digoreng spt bitterballen atau roti goreng gini, coba naikkan sedikit garamnya. Dikiit aja, sayang banget krn udah enak cuma kurang asin aja.

Milk shop lokal Malang. Lokasinya cukup strategis di kota Malang dan sepertinya ownernya masih muda dan menu yang ditawarkan sudah melalui proses riset yang serius.

Mencoba milk black tea dan milk tea coklat. Milk chocolate nya muantap, sebelumnya gatau kalau ada menu ini. Setelah beberapa kali berkunjung, baru tau ternyata ada yg chocolate wkwwk.

Harga mungkin akan terasa lebih pricey apabila dibandingkan dg penjual susu biasa yang plastikan. Kalau untuk milk shop modern, harga bisa dibilang murah untuk rasa, porsi, dan packaging yg didapat.

Selama ini selalu berkunjung setelah sarapan, jadi belum sempat nyoba roti / sandwich nya....
