Pizza Marzano — Restaurant in Pagedangan

okay experience over all.

started with an appetizer, forgot what it was called but came with a bowl of creamy dip and 4 dough balls. should have came with more balls for the dip, but it was okay.

next had 2 pizzas, both were between 8-9/10, dough was a good texture and toppings tasted as fresh as it can get in jakarta. would definitely come back here for pizza again.

got the salmon pesto pasta & truffle pasta. the truffle pasta lacked any truffle flavour. the salmon pesto also lacked pesto flavours. I would recommend sticking to ordering pizzas if visiting this restaurant.

they only had 2 desserts available from the menu. we got the tiramisu and it was quite underwhelming. i'd give it 3.5/10, it was in a glass cup, and 95% just cream, i wouldn't even call it a tiramisu.

The pizza is good but they serve alcohol!! As Muslims, we should never give our business to a company that sells alcohol or anything that Allah (sw) prohibited.

Allah (sw) told us in the noble Quran "and help one another with goodness and righteousness and do not help one another with evilness and transgression".

Helping a business that sells alcohol is considered helping them with evilness and transgression.

As a consumer, I remind my Muslim brothers and sisters that Alcohol (beer, vodka, .... anything that has alcohol) was cursed by prophet Mohammed (saw) ... in fact he cursed anyone who had anything to do with it: ... that who makes it, that who its made for, that who buys it, that's who its bought for, that's who sell it, that's who carry it ...

So after all that warning, and even though you don't drink it, we should never be in the same place that...

I like their caesar salad, the croutons are really crispy, the veggies are fresh, and the dressings were not too much. However, they could’ve done better with the chicken, would’ve been perfect if it were well-grilled.

Another starter that I had was chicken wings whom I really love. It’s very well marinated and tasty. But, the chicken wings are not very well-grilled, left it a bit moist and not really my preference.

As for the main course, I had Spaghetti Tartufo, which was rich in mushroom cream paste and came in generous portion, enough for 2. It was good but nothing really special.

As much as I love their food, I must say that I was disappointed with their dessert. I had chocolate brownie and while on the menu they said they’ll serve warm brownie, what came in my plate was a cold, gooey brownie. I wouldn’t recommend you to order this...
