Uchino Shokudo ÆON BSD — Restaurant in Pagedangan

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Uchino Japanese Restaurant was so disappointing that I felt the need to share. I had high expectations based on the reviews, but sadly, it was a complete letdown.

Food (1/5): The sushi tasted old and lacked freshness — the rice was dry, and the fish had a weird texture, almost like it had been sitting out too long. The tempura was greasy and soggy instead of light and crispy. Even the miso soup was bland and watery. For the prices they charge, the food should be much, much better.

Service (1/5): Service was just as bad. We waited 15 minutes just to get menus, and even longer to place our order. The staff seemed distracted and uninterested — no greeting, no smile, barely any eye contact. When we politely mentioned the sushi didn’t taste fresh, they brushed it off and didn’t offer to replace it or even apologize.

Overall, the entire experience felt rushed, careless, and overpriced. There are far better Japanese restaurants in the area that treat customers better and serve food worth paying for. Definitely not...

Uchino Shokudo is a Japanese restaurant that serves variant of Japanese menu, from the appetizer, sushi, bento, donburi, curry rice, ramen, udon, soba.

This restaurant has a calm ambiance with the dark wooden dominating color. It is suitable to bring family as well. Their staffs are friendly.

Sushi is good. My most favorite and recommendation is their Poke Bowl with the fresh and thick cut of salmon and tuna sashimi. The price is still considered as affordable with this kind of comfortable and high quality Japanese...

Food was served one hour later after we ordered at 7 pm. When another customer seated next to us asked for menu, instead of taking another book menu, the waiter took one of the menu on our table and gave it to them.. such a great manner.. No ketchup, Spoon, Chilli Powder served on our table untill we asked.. Fortunately, food served was great.. The beef katsu I ordered was so crunchy and the beef was tender and delicious served with rich and thick curry.. While the udon is only ok with few...
