I really wanted to enjoy my experience at Afrojojo, but unfortunately it left me disappointed. The lamb was undercooked, fatty, and too tough to eat. I mentioned this to the staff and was offered a replacement with chicken. However, both the lamb and chicken ended up on the bill, even though all of the lamb wasn’t eaten and we asked them to take it away.
We were surprised by how the situation was handled. Instead of understanding our concern, the owner responded in a defensive and dismissive way, both in person and publicly. To be clear: the chicken was not given for free, and I never “ate all the lamb” as claimed.
It’s not just about the food. It’s about how customers are treated when something isn’t right or even when feedback is given calmly and with respect. In this case, the feedback wasn’t taken seriously or received with care and that’s really what left...
