Staff should stop lying to customers.
We came for lunch, place was half full.
Ordered coffees, pancake and an omelette.
They told us there is a 20min wait time for the pancake, fair enough, arrived in 20min.
Now, the omelette was just their hulk omelette, nothing fancy.
When pancake arrived, I asked about the omelette: "it's being cooked right now, just a minute."
Fair enough, we wait.
Now it's 30min, I ask again.. and I tell them that if it's not being cooked it's fine, we just cancel it and leave, because we finished everything else and need to go somewhere.
"sorry we can't cancel it because we already cooking it, please just one minute.."
Ok, we wait.
Now it's 40min, and I see some guests who were here before us also complain about waiting time because didn't get all their food.
I tell the waitress, look clearly you're not cooking it otherwise it would be here already. It's an omelette. Nothing crazy.
Again, waitress say: "sorry sir, we're cooking it so you can't cancel it" (!!!)
45 minutes after ordering, still no omelette, I ask for the bill and tell the waitress that we will indeed leave because we are still hungry, have things to do after, and clearly this omelette isn't coming.
Some other waitress arrives, apologize for the delay, tells me that the omelette isn't actually cooked (lol?), and that she will only charge us the coffees, and give us the pancake free of charge.
As if the issue was about money.. I tell her I don't want a free pancake, I just wanted the food I ordered.
I ask to pay for what we ordered, and tell her I just wanna leave this place.
She still just count the coffees, apologizes and wish us a good day.
I mean, fair enough, at least she tried to do something, but clearly the issue isn't about this.
The issue is, why would staff purposefully lie to clients about their food being cooked right now, or arriving in a minute, when it's clearly not the case.
It's fine to be busy/overwhelmed.. although I still can't understand how it takes so long to cook an omelette..
But stop thinking clients are dumb and lie to them when you're clearly aware they'll wait for a long time, just so they don't leave.
We live 5min from that place, and thought we'd try it as a new place for brunches, but clearly we won't ever come again, and tell everybody not to go there unless they have at least 2-3h for their lunch..
I gave 2* instead of 1 because of the waitress who tried to do something, although it didn't...

My partner and I ordered pancakes, fruit with granola and yogurt, what was supposed to be an ice coffee frappe, and a coconut. When I placed my drink order the waitress had me repeat myself 3 times as she seemingly couldn't understand me. I had taken off my facemask, but she was understandably wearing hers. I couldn't understand her with the muffling of her mask in addition to the louder-than-necessary music, so I resorted to pointing at the menu; a failsafe. I was delivered a chocolate frappe instead of coffee (milo and milk, with a chocolate ice cream scoop melting on top [this isn't what a frappe is]); after having my first sip I called the waitress and kindly asked her to correct the mistake. She takes the drink and disappears for close to 5 minutes before returning and tells me they will not correct the order, leaving me with the unwanted and now melted drink... My partner eventually ate the ice cream.
We should have left at this point, but I guess we convinced ourselves the rest would be worth it - how wrong we would be.
The granola and yogurt was absolutely off, inedible with a horrid aftertaste - we each took a bite and pushed it away. Something with the granola just was blatantly unpalatable and overpowered the entire dish, we had a couple spoons of yogurt.
Half an eternity later the pancakes were finally delivered. In our excitement we dug right in only to be left with bland and burnt pancakes. We salvaged what we could solely due to starvation...
A terrible experience and I would not recommend. Seriously there's 3 parts to the food industry: The food, service, and ambiance and this place miserably failed the lot. We paid an overpriced bill for an incorrect drink, a scoop of ice cream, a couple spoons of yogurt, and some pancake.
The coconut was the only good part, other...
Read moreHere is the update. I appreciate that the customer service responses really fast and takes the matter seriously. The management offered us to have the other experience that they actually aim their customer to have. The staff was really welcoming and cheerful. Honestly because it was already great, the foods and place, except the service as the service has improved it has became perfect. Most of cafe these days has boring same menu but the Porncake and the chicken waffle are making this place special and those are sinfully delicious. Plus personally i like comfortable lounge chair and this place has it with nice view oh and the car park. And I believe as the place take care of customer satisfaction they will be working on maintaining the service as good as today’s one.

The worst service experience i ever had. Ordered porncake and waffle with chicken. We noticed that porncake needs 30 min to be ready it was totally ok and i asked them to bring the waffle with porncake together. After 30min or more theysaid it will take more time around 15min due to too many orders which they could have informed us when they take order. Well ok so we were waiting waiting waiting then we saw foods are served to next table with porncake where the order placed much much later than us. So i called the waitress, named Lui (she said maybe its made up even), saying ‘Excuse me?!’ but she made very annoyed face saying ur order is coming too without even coming to me asking what i called for. Then we got informed that the porncake is ready but waffle is not because i asked them to bring waffle together with porncake. Such a ridiculous reason i’ve ever heard. STOP EXCUSE, SAY SORRY IF U MADE INCONVENIENCE. What a shame such a nice location and food but the...
