Rosti Café — Restaurant in Semarang

I truly recommend this family restaurant. It's located in the strategic area, exactly in the central Semarang, around Pandanaran Street which is an area where tourists usually buy souvenirs. The interior design is extraordinarily arranged in blue dominant color, combining modern and traditional furnitures makes this restaurant looks so instagrammable. The positive point comes from the dishes taste, which are sooo delicious. We ordered several variant of foods from the appetizer, main course and dessert that totally spoil our tounge. Our favorite was their black toast with sweet salted egg sauce. And surprisingly the price is also very affordable. No wonder that this cafe & restaurant always full of visitors not only in the weekend but also weekdays both in lunch time and...

The food taste is actually ok with reasonable price. But I just have to give a poor rating here because the service here is horrible, specifically the waitresses (ladies staff). We met in front of the cafe so they knew we're coming in. Both of the waitresses SAW us waiting to be seated and blatantly IGNORED us. We went in ourselves and needed to ask one of them to give us table. She just pointed to one of the empty tables and that's it. Not even a menu came our way.

The only 'hero' of this cafe is the waiter (guy staff). He was the one who brought us menu, took our order, delivered our order and did the payment process. Just him, doing all that.

I wonder why the waitresses are there. They just stayed behind the counter, not...
