Bakerzin Tunjungan Plaza 4 — Restaurant in Surabaya

2.5 stars from me. I gave 2 here bcs while doing these, the restaurant only have 2 tables with customer = more time to pay attention to the food.

Quesadilla Chicken and cheese is delicious, but the guacamole wasn’t fresh and have a hint of brown which is kinda disappointing, especially where there are only 2 tables with customer.

The service was good and polite. I also received some discounts there.

After that I ate the Truffle lasagne. It was an unlikely combination of some veggies, edamame, and truffle. The taste was okay tho, but the lasagne itself is not served hot like wherever I go to eat pasta and just lukewarm. The lasagne is very very messy and anyhow stacked loosely layer by layer. Tbh, it made me lose some appetite. And please note that the lasagne is not baked. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I hope that the chef pay more attention to the pastas especially, bcs lasagne is best to be served while its hot. And please make your pasta more tidy. I don’t have any messiness issues whenever I went to an authentic italian cafe/restaurant. I hope Bakerzin in TP can improve on these. Thank...

We went here last week for the first time and ABSOLUTELY HATED IT. We sit outside and wanted to make an order, called the waiter and he said to wait a moment. 5 minutes passed by and still no one came to us. We called the waiter again for the second time and still, we need to wait. We kept seeing those waiters walking inside-outside-repeat, and we also saw the spv/manager on duty walk to the other customers who's already eat&drink (I mean, dude, you have another customer who needs to order and you kept coming to another guests to make sure your food is great???). We keep waiting and waiting for more than 10 minutes and decides to walk out. And still no one...

Forced to give 2-stars because the last time my husband and I went here, the staffs totally ignored us. We already called and raised our hand, even both hands, but they didn't look at us. While the customers on the the table right beside us got a very pleasant and kind service. We decided to eat in other place and when we're heading to the exit, the staffs avoided eye-contact with us. I didn't know why we got treatment like that. Maybe because our dull appearance after wandering around the city that day? Though I still love the food and beverage...
