One of the best Vietnamese food I have ever tasted!! This restaurant is a must-place visit when you are in Surabaya. It’s near Hotel Majapahit. The ambience is very welcoming.
The Pho Bo Vien is so flavorful and the noodles are perfectly cooked. Beef was soft and juicy and tender. You can request if spicy or no spice.
The Spring rolls were another pleasant surprise. It was filled with ground chicken, shrimp and rice noodles. The wrapper was thin so you can appreciate the inside of the spring roll. It didn’t look cooked when it was served but it was sooooo crispy and good. The mildly spiced vinegar complimented the taste of the spring rolls.
The Com Tam Ga Nuong grilled chicken meal was packed with flavor and paired with chicken broth rice. The topping looked like garlic but it tasted like anchovies or super duper small fish.
And the last one we ordered was butter toast with sugar. Yum! Brings me back to younger days when you had toast with butter.
Please visit Coba Pho. It’s...
Read moreThe food tasted xoxo, but i was concerned about the cashier attitude and services, i know she looks tired but please at least be friendly, and for improvement advice, please upgrade the payment by accepting other debit cards from outside BCA. When I wanted to pay cash, the cashier said she didn't have the exchange, so I had to pay by qris. It doesn't bother me but is kinda not flexible for the payment. The free condiments are not complete (chilli slices are run out of stock, the chili oil has not any chili inside) 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️, that's horrible .. Please improve the services, overall it is good. Thank you .. I think you should make a sign for Order here and Pay here, i saw many people outside are sitting on your resto but didn't know how to order, or where to make an order. And you better have a staff that clears the table after customers are already done...
Read moreCOBA PHO offers a good dining experience with prices that are on the higher side, but it's understandable given the generous portions of meat in each dish. The Pho Bo, in particular, is tasty with a good amount of beef slices, making it a satisfying meal. However, the service could use some improvement. During my visit, one of the dishes we ordered was forgotten, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, while they offer a variety of seasonings and condiments for self-serving, I noticed that the coriander leaves were used up and weren't refilled promptly. On the plus side, the place is comfortable enough for a relaxed meal. Overall, COBA PHO has potential, with its good food and comfy atmosphere, but a bit more attention to service would make the experience...
