Platinum Hotel — Hotel in Surabaya

Honestly, I don’t even know how to begin this review, Words can’t fully express my gratitude. But from the bottom of my heart, Thank you for making my holiday in Surabaya so warm, meaningful, and unforgettable.

I stayed at Platinum Hotel for about a week, and from the moment I arrived until check-out, everything was beyond my expectations. The hotel itself is luxurious, Both inside and out. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy, and I truly appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality from every staff member.

The room was spacious and spotless. A big thank you to the housekeeping team for maintaining such high standards! The bed was absolutely huge and incredibly comfortable. I also truly appreciate being placed on a higher floor, As my family and I love enjoying the beautiful views from above. We also appreciated that the room came with two access cards, which made it so much easier for us to move around independently whether one of us wanted to head out or come back up to the room, It was really convenient. The Smart TV in the room was a nice touch too perfect for relaxing after a long day. Although the signal occasionally dropped, It wasn’t a big issue for us. We still enjoyed having it available for light entertainment.

And speaking of views the breakfast experience was one of my favorite parts. The variety of food was amazing and having the chance to dine while looking out at the scenery gave us such a peaceful and calming start to the day. Huge kudos to the kitchen staff for preparing delicious meals and to the F&B attendants who always greeted us with warm smiles and kind hearts.

A special shoutout to the security team and the door attendants who never failed to greet us with big smiles every day those small gestures meant a lot.

I’d also like to personally thank Miss Delinda from the front desk, Along with Miss Viola and Miss Amel from the F&B department. Miss Delinda, Miss Viola, and Miss Amel, I hope I remembered your names correctly. I may just be one of many guests, But your smiles made me feel seen, and your warmth felt like a gentle hug to my soul. Your kindness, your smiles, and the way you made us feel so welcome… It meant more than you might realize. At a time when my heart was quietly hurting, Your simple sincere warmth brought unexpected comfort. Sometimes when you’re traveling, It’s not just the room or the view that stays with you, It’s the kindness of the people. Please kindly send my deepest gratitude to these amazing women they’ve left a lasting impression on me and I will always remember the comfort and warmth they gave during my stay. Thank you for being that light during my visit.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the entire front office team not only those at the front desk but everyone who works closely with guests. Your care and dedication made me and my family feel truly seen and valued.

Lastly, there was a small misunderstanding during our departure. I had requested an Innova car to take us to the airport and I reconfirmed this with two different front desk staff, Who both said it would be arranged. However, on the morning of our departure, we were given an Avanza car instead. I made this request for a reason, We had quite a lot of luggage and wanted to travel more comfortably. But I understand that it might have been a simple miscommunication or human error. In the end, the car still fit all our belongings, and we reached the airport safely and comfortably and that’s what matters most.

To the entire Platinum Hotel team keep up the good work and continue maintaining the excellent service. Please keep everything feeling fresh and welcoming just like it’s straight out of the oven!

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone whether you’re a local looking for a staycation, Or a foreigner visiting Surabaya. You won’t be disappointed.

The main reason I chose this hotel is the location! As it is located at Jalan Tunjungan, it is just a short drive from Pasar Turi Train Station and a short walk from Tunjungan Plaza dan some recommended culinary choices.

The Business Twin room I booked is comfortable, spacious enough for me, my sister and my niece. I am satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in whole. My niece enjoyed swimming here as it has a dedicated child pool. The adult pool is also great as it's located on the 16th floor, giving us a great view of Surabaya city. The breakfast spread is great. The hotel offers a lot of choices for the breakfast. I also tried their pastry and those were good too.

I should also applaud all staff of Platinum Hotel. The check-in and check-out process was fast and smooth, even though there's a high traffic during my stay. Special shout out for the concierge staff. They were always full of smile and ready to help us loading and unloading our bags. Plus, they weren't hesitant to help my sister with my niece's stroller and they also never failed to say hi to us.

I've got a room with a city view. The hotel is located in the heart of Surabaya city and surrounded by the iconic buildings. I ordered a take away breakfast since i have to leave the hotel before 6 am, but they only give a very standard meal with no dessert and snacks. I ever stayed at some hotels nearby but they gave me a complete take away meal. The hotel staff also discriminated me and my co-worker, they weren't even willing to open the front door for us while they stood right beside the door, but they did open the door for foreigners and chinese. I guess the service needs to be improved. Another bad experience that my co-worker had was a spooky experience in the room at the 10th floor that occured at certain time i.e at 11.00 pm and 1.00 am (We stayed there for 4 nights in a separate room), such a spooky thing happened consistently during our stay there. Overall, if you opt for the strategic place over the comfortability, this hotel is suitable for you, but if you consider service and comfortability as your first priority, then you should take some bad reviews as...
