PAPER CUP COFFEE - Tunjungan — Restaurant in Surabaya

The food is great!! The price is worth it. The coffee, it is ARABICA, I REALLY LOVE IT 🤍

But the service. Well, it's not that full at the time I visited. Wednesday night, around 8.30 p.m., no one was in the waiting line, even some seats were empty. At the time they gave me my order, they only gave me the food, drinks, and utensils, but without the condiments and the tissue. I did see all of it on the edge of the order bar, but the staff never told me anything (like tell me to take it or etc..). I did give a sign to ask for it, but maybe they didn't see it..well at the end, I need to go by myself to ask for it.

Tempatnya di Jalan Tunjungan, berseberangan dengan Indigo Restaurant. Spacenya tidak sangat luas, tapi nggak sempit juga, ambience baik. Suhu ruangannya pas, tidak membuat kedinginan. Staff baik, walaupun mungkin bisa ditingkatkan keramahannya.

Pilihan makanannya cukup variatif, ada banyak makanan ringan & makanan berat.

BBQ Cheese Burger 4/5 Daging cukup juicy dan lembut. Saos yang diberikan juga tidak over dan rasanya enak. Bun-nya tidak panas, tapi tetap enak karena dagingnya panas. Kejunya juga menambah rasa gurih. Disajikan bersama french fries yang juga enak. Nggak berminyak, crispy, dan tidak terlalu asin. Porsinya pas.

Waffle Fries 4/5 Sama seperti french fries, waffle fries ini nggak terlalu berminyak, crispy, dan nggak terlalu asin. Would recommend, walaupun lebih mahal daripada french fries biasa!

Gen Matcha Blend Less Sugar 3/5 Menurutku ini masih bisa di-improve! Aku kurang cocok dengan rasa minuman ini. Rasa matcha-nya terasa artificial. Masih kerasa terlalu manis walaupun udah less sugar. Dengan harga 35k, menurutku ini masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi kualitasnya.

Mushroom Cheese Burger 4.5/5 (Review from a friend) Rasanya sudah cukup enak dengan porsi yang pas. Namun, dagingnya terasa kurang juicy. Can be improved!

Love the cozy vibe at Paper Cup Coffee on Jalan Tunjungan. The cafe has both indoor (with AC) and outdoor seating, and it's spread across two floors. Super chill for studying or working (free WiFi is a big plus). The staff is friendly but unfortunately quite few food items were unavailable when I visited. They also have toilets and a prayer room (mushola). Definitely a nice spot to hang out or get some work done in...
