Imperial Chef — Restaurant in Surabaya

Imperial Chef (by Duck King Group) is famous for its roasted duck. The skin is still quite crispy and the meat is very tasty, even when eaten without the Hoisin sauce. The other roasted meats (pork) are also equally good.

Other options to eat at Imperial Chef include seafoods and meats. My favorite seafood dishes will have to be their Teochew-styled steamed fish and salted egg yolk prawn. The teochew-styled steamed fish is fish steamed in a chicken-based soup with salted vegetables and chicken strips. For the salted egg yolk prawn, the prawn is deep-fried until it is crispy and is coated with luscious salted egg yolk. Being very crispy, you can actually eat the prawn without needing to peel it.
