Imperial Kitchen & Dimsum - Pakuwon Mall Surabaya — Restaurant in Surabaya

What actually happened was myself questioning that. Every staff member seems like they are having a bad day or what, none of them are smiling. I feel like, "Is this the place I know? Why are none of them smiling?? And more of that, what in the world is all this attitude.."

All staff is too loud while talking to each other about personal stuff, it kinda disturbs me and my friends while enjoying the food. I felt like they were giving us an attitude because we were not using gorgeous outfits?? You guys treating your customers like that??

The food, I like how they informed us about the day discount/promo, but the food seems a lil bit stale and there is item that overcooked I believed.. Lack explaining the use of the sauce and things, they literally just bring the food and go. This is not the first time I visit your place so yeah I feel like, "What...

The restaurant serves a very weird version of singapore hainanese pek cham kee rice. It comes with japanese miso soup and sambal bawang. Oh and their peking duck is below average for the price they are charging. Very dry and very burnt taste. Oh and the server is not friendly at all. Their system payment is messed up. You like to go to a restaurant when the owner? Has some sort of unknown vendetta against you? Then come to the shop. Otherwise, plenty other restaurants at the mall to visit. What is it with the server and singapore national dish? I’m curious. Nudging the owner if you happen to read this. To the owner: Your payment system is automatically charging me extra IDR 12K. What is that for again? By the way, if you as the owner or your staff really hate singapore national dish: hainanese chicken rice then why do you include it...

I just happened to stroll around inside the mall and was feeling hungry and stumbled into Imperial Kitchen and Dimsum. So, this is my first time attending this restaurant.

I was served by the supervisor and he was treating me in a good way. So the service is very good. (5-stars)

Now i'm going to talk about the food. I ordered Sauteed Chicken with Veg and i requested to change the Black pepper to other sauce and it was granted, and it's a good first impression. But then the food arrived, i noticed that i could only find 5 pieces of chicken in the midst of vegetables with muddy thickened dark brown sauce, which made the whole nuance of the dish looked quite not fresh to look at.

I also ordered a dimsum and it tasted quite nice, although the skin was too thick, in my opinion.
