Opak 39 - Food & Coffee — Restaurant in Surabaya

For the price of the food wasnt worth it at all. I had the burger and what made it “fancy” and expensive was the 2 pieces of brisket. For 130 I think you can find better burger for less than 130. For my drink I had coffee and it basically tastes like espresso and milk. There’s no specialty. My driver had nasi campur and for 100+ wasn’t worth it at all. You can find better nasi campur for less than 100. The atmosphere was nice, I could see that they wanted to keep the historical site but the chairs could use improvement. The chairs are to sharp, hard and cant be used for a long time. Overall, the service was nice, but not worth ur money. I think you can change the mindset of “tempat enak tapi makanan harus mahal” to “tempat enak tapi...

Two stars because the food and drink was good, and good quality. Two stars reflects the racist staff who ignored my table of 5 for 20 minutes, we are 4 Indonesians and bule American. The 2 tables of Chinese customers who came in 10 and 15 after us, were served immediately.

The server refused to come to our table to take our order, as she did with every other table. I finally brought my 5 person order to the counter and had to do the same when we were ready to order food.

Disrespectful, racist, and decent food. 2 stars is generous. I don't recommend, I won't return.

Shocked...

The place its bit dark for night time (i think its better during day) need more lighting, need a bit cozy touch for the design, service is okay, the waiter need some more of basic product knowledge, always run here and there for guidance from his senior... Lol, food... Its okay, could be better for the price range, I ordered fatty boy and the moment it came I saw the sausage was crying in the corner everything else was good (more bacon perhaps) , the locaa special beverages is good, I might be back to try the coffee in future, hope my insight could help to...
