Last month, I and my boyfriend had lunch at Yamagoya Ramen in Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya. The restaurant had a warm and cozy vibes. It wasn’t too crowded, and the staff greeted us kindly and polite.

We ordered their original Pork Tonkotsu Ramen and a glass of cold ocha (Japanese tea). The ramen was delicious, the broth was rich of flavor, and the noodles were soft but chewy. The sliced pork was tender and tasty. The portion was just right and made me feel full and happy.

The tea came with free refills, which was a nice bonus. Prices were around Rp 70,000 to Rp 80,000 for the ramen, which is okay for a high quality ramen place inside a mall. I had a great time and would give Yamagoya Ramen 4 out of 5...

The food is nice as usual. But the service is so slowww. We waited almost 10 minutes until the staff gave us a barcode (to see the menu and to order from the website). But after I submitted my order, I waited again for 15 minutes but nothing came out. I found that my order was not processed. Maybe there’s an error in the website. So I ordered again manually at the cashier. The drink and ramen came out pretty fast but the gyoza was long.
