A MUST VISIT! I can’t recommend this place enough, we stayed in the Mimpi bungalows next to the restaurant and we ate here every day! They have a great range of things on their menu which is all reasonably priced. The staff were some of the kindest people my friend and I have come across during our travels. You also get complimentary popcorn when waiting for your drinks/food. The calzone was delicious and huge! I would definitely recommend! The bolognese was also delicious although was slightly sweet but don’t let this put you off! It also came with a side of bread. I had the cheeseburger for lunch one day and this was also DELICIOUS! Finally, the brownie with ice cream (which was more like a chocolate fudge cake) but we had this multiple times! So I would also recommend! They also have live music playing every evening which is nice and the staff also get involved. They also feed the cats which was really sweet! Overall a lovely atmosphere with amazing food and drink! Read moreWalking around Gili Meno you are given a lot of options where to eat and drink, sometimes you luck out! Adeng-Adeng we tried yesterday and came back today, and most likely will tomorrow. Firstly, the staff are really welcoming and friendly, secondly the view is beautiful and it’s clear the team look after the beach front and keep it rubbish free, thirdly some good classic rock pumps from the speakers (but not too loudly!) fourthly, the food is actually really good. I’ve had the red curry one day which is nicely aromatic and the green today which is spicy enough but also aromatic. The chilled coconut drinks are superb and the beers are cold. I’m writing this review on their 5GHz wifi which is also excellent. From my view point I can see the horizon, the occasional boat and turtles popping their heads up every few minutes. Pristine, beautiful and good value for money....
Read moreWe saw the prices were extraordinarily high, but ordered anyway, thinking that the food would be good for that price. The two salads (if you could call them that) were TINY. The “Mediterranean salad” (a few small pieces of eggplant and cauliflower) were sitting in a thick pool of oil. The “greek salad” was a few pieces of lettuce with a couple of olives, tiny amount of feta and some red onion…for 90K each we found this laughable, compared to all the amazing food we have had throughout our entire trip for such reasonable prices! They had also run out of french fries...so we had to order some from the place next door. Such a shame the food and prices really let this place down, because the staff were so friendly and greeted us with cool face cloths when we arrived which was amazing. For food though, don’t go here! you can do much better even at...
