Anchor Café — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

I really enjoyed the breakfast here. If you have been in Bali, the breakfast concept is very similar to the one in Copenhagen Cafe, however the execution needs to improve a little bit. The first day, we came at noon and they didn't have many things of the menu, so it was a bit disappointing. And I also think the tuna and chicken salad are very small. We decided to give it another chance, and the second time we came earlier and they have everything. The best thing is the sourdough bread by far, and coffee is also really good. Eggs are done great and chicken skewers were nice. Overall, the place is lovely and atmosphere is really nice. Food is good but a bit more expensive than...

I have mixed feelings about the place. Let's start with the positive: the bagle aswell as the bread slices are yummy and the size of the bread good too. the cappuccino was good (cold and hot) the concept is of course also nice to create your set the size of the scrambled eggs was good the apple crumble cake was yummy too The negative: the size and taste of the salad and protain choices (we had the creamy chicken, tuna, hummus, chicken satay) where very very small. there is almost no meat in the portions. E.g. the creamy chicken or tuna choices are more corn and veggies instead of meat. the taste of the mentioned choices were not special...

The food was satisfactory, and the staff were friendly enough, but the level of cleanliness was disappointing and made me feel wee bit sick. I'm uncertain whether this is solely attributed to it being a Sunday, possibly with the staff in a more relaxed state, but even after two hours, my plates remain uncleared.

Regrettably, the lack of cleanliness has deterred me from returning to this establishment. If you're seeking excellent food coupled with impeccable hygiene, I would highly recommend...
