I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place , it’s cozy, well-decorated, and has a nice vibe. However, there are two serious reasons why I wouldn’t return, and they both relate to what truly matters in a restaurant, food quality and hygiene.
Hygiene concerns Unfortunately, my visit raised serious concerns about hygiene practices. Before my food arrived, I went to the restroom, which is located next to the staff toilet. A staff member entered their restroom at the same time, and we both finished around the same time. It was clear we both were doing our needs. When I washed my hands, I noticed that the staff member did not wash theirs and went straight back inside. Out of curiosity, I watched as they went directly toward the kitchen and immediately continued working with food.
That moment was quite disappointing and honestly off putting. I don’t blame the young staff, they were polite and friendly, but this clearly points to a lack of hygiene training and supervision. Proper hygiene education is the responsibility of management, not individual staff members, and it’s something that urgently needs improvement.
Food quality The Caesar baguette was fine, nothing extraordinary but pleasant enough. However, the “smoothie bowl” was a real letdown. It wasn’t freshly made at all, the texture was dense and warm and more like a mousse than a smoothie. When I asked about it, the staff told me it had been prepared earlier and stored in the fridge. Which explains a lot, but it also means it really shouldn’t be marketed as a fresh cold smoothie bowl. It simply didn’t have that freshness or flavor you’d expect and tasted more like a supermarket 🫎. For 180.000 for 2 dishes you expect a bit more. I came here specifically for the smoothie bowl and would not order it again. Presentation of the...

After 3 weeks in Kuta, Nohi is hands down my favorite restaurant. I kept coming back — and for good reason.
What I ordered (and loved): For breakfast, my go-to’s were the avocado toast, Nohi omelette, and Yusef’s breakfast — a gluten-free, filling option that’s perfect for workout days. For lunch, don’t miss their ravioli — especially the mushroom beetroot pasta with an incredibly juicy filling. Absolutely delicious! Drinks-wise, their passion fruit kombucha is refreshing and not too sweet.
Price range: Expect to pay around 150–200k per person for breakfast.
They also run great promos: • Tuesday: Pasta Day (30% off dine-in) • Saturday: Burger Day • Every day after 4PM: Pastries on special prices
Atmosphere & service: The vibe is cozy and relaxed, with a covered outdoor area upstairs and air-conditioned indoor seating below.
Service is super friendly — it genuinely feels like a family-run spot. We All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They even went out of their way to help us find someone to repair our backpack, which was a lovely and unexpected gesture. I can only have kind words for them — they truly care about their customer
Practical info: Card payments, cash payments and QR code accepted Plenty of seating available Perfect for a pre/post paddle session since the paddle court is right next door
It’s slightly out of Kuta center but worth the 3-minute motorbike detour
A real gem in the area — I’ll definitely be...
Read moreWe went there twice. First time we ordered the pancakes and waited upwards of 90 minutes for that. As the place has high reviews I went back again. Once again the service is extremely slow, although the place was almost empty. If I had not flagged it with the staff multiple times I would have gotten my order again by lunch. Drinks were brought at the same time with food (?), not sure why. i also had to ask for water multiple times. Tables that arrived after me got their drinks and food first (?)The bread is friend in oil/butter and is quite heavy. The pancakes first time around tasted ok, but nothing special compared to the sourdough one in munchies for example. Today my breakfast was fried in a lot of oil and was very salty. I did not enjoy my meal nor time here. Again, if you are into traditional heavier food, this meal might work for you :) But I have a sensitive tummy so it was a pass. The music taste is of course very subjective, but does not match my vision for an island cafe, more like a traditional cafe on the main strip in Tenerife, which is fair enough - up to the owners. Wooden chairs with no pillows - extremely uncomfortable, especially when you have to wait for your food for hours. I am glad I gave this place a second chance, as I believe only then I can have an informed decision and a fair review. Cheers. To anyone looking for a great and fast breakfast and laid back atmosphere with fast service I suggest: Bush Radio, Kenza...
