A hidden gem on Gili Air, this restaurant is located right on Main Street, but it’s very easy to miss. In fact, even TripAdvisor shows the wrong address on the map, i think. However, once you find it, I bet you'll want to return more than once. The food is exceptional, offering a fine dining experience comparable to those in Australia, but with the price tag of the local warung.
I tried the green curry chicken, which had a perfect balance of spicy and creamy flavors, the tuna sesame, which was perfect and thelemongrass chicken, which was aromatic and tender. All three dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with taste. I will definitely come back again. sorry didn’t have the phone on me to make pictures - better come and see it...
Read moreWaited 30 minutes for one of the most disappointing Gado Gados I have ever had. Maybe a half a teaspoon of peanut sauce in which the vegetables were mixed with some flavourless tempeh and some steamed rice.
I would not return. They knew how to do this last year. Looks like new management.
I did not finish the “orange juice” which had a lot of sugar and was nowhere near pure juice.
If you’re curious how to make these items properly the management can take a day trip to Aura Bowls and order there, something I will do in the future.

The first time, for dinner, the service was great and the food quite good for a reasonable price (even though they had run out of cold beer and ice for juices). Being an overall good place, made us want to go there again 2 days after... I've ordered a dish with prawns and waited 40m for them to tell me they didn't have more prawns (!?) And they just told me because I asked... Unbelievable. So y, it's a Russian roulette over here. Food is good but service is poor. There are much better...
