If you find yourself on Gili Air and in need of a spot to just chill, catch some cool vibes, and enjoy a killer cup of coffee, you’ve gotta check out Gili Coffee Roasters. This place is like a little slice of paradise within paradise – laid back, with views that’ll make you wanna stay all day, and an atmosphere so tranquil you can hear your own thoughts.
The coffee? Oh, man, it’s on another level. These folks know their beans, and every cup comes out just right – rich, smooth, and exactly what you need to kick back or get a bit of work done. Speaking of work, if you’re trying to bang out some emails or get creative, this is the spot. Quiet enough to focus but not so quiet you feel like you’re in a library. And if you’re more into flipping pages than typing away, you’re in luck. Gili Coffee Roasters is the kind of place where you can lose yourself in a book for hours without a care in the world. It’s definitely become one of my go-to spots on the island for when I need to decompress, enjoy some good coffee, and maybe even make a dent in my reading list.
In short, Gili Coffee Roasters is where it’s at. Whether you’re a coffee fanatic, a digital nomad, or just someone looking to enjoy the vibe of Gili Air, you’ll feel right at home here. Trust me, it’s worth a visit –...
Read moreBreakfast is my passion and Gili Coffee Roasters was a dream come true! Everything was delicious, fresh and beautifully served. The options were much more elaborated than the usual breakfast and lunch menus we found around Bali and even though I researched many places that I wanted to try, we came again to Gili Coffee Roasters just to keep trying more of their plates! The Dragon Bowl was the best smoothie bowl we had after trying tons of them during our two weeks travel, just so tasty and creamy, coffee was also delicious, the French toasts were original and amazing, the brusqueta was fresh and the bread was homemade and delicious, the mini banana pancakes were so yummy too. We only missed the avo toast because they use their own avocados and they were not available at the moment. We’ll have to come back! The staff is absolutely nice, friendly and thoughtful. The place is also lovely and calm, there’s a comfy outdoor open area with fans were you can eat, hang out and work, or you can sit in the garden among the trees. It is also great that you can see the trees and farm where your food comes from. Best breakfast in the island, do not hesitate to come visit! 1000% recommend, loved Gili Coffee...

We were craving for decent coffee and glad we found them on google maps. Take note: It might be tricky to find them as they’re located on a narrow dirt road. Very easy to miss if you weren’t paying attention.
We ordered Roti Jala, Corn fritters, Strawberry French Toast and 2 cups of coffee.
If you’re down to try southeast asian flavours, do yourself a favour and order the roti jala. The veggie curry that came with the main was sooo good. It paired so well with the warm and freshly made roti jala. Corn fritters had indonesian flavours and was good as well, probably a safer choice. French toast was disappointing tho, felt like a kids meal instead. Strawberry jam was lathered on the inside of a flattened piece of bread, rolled up and pan friend with egg wash on the outside. I’d definitely be keen to try their local dishes instead.
We loved the atmosphere of the cafe! Just the light that comes through and the garden👌🏻 But just a heads up, we had lots of mozzie bites so lather yourself with insect repellent before...
