I wanted so much to enjoy this restaurant. Unfortunately, I didn't.
The restaurant is a very pleasant space and a reasonably good size. There are spaces for 5 tables downstairs and a larger number of tables upstairs. It is very nicely decorated and appears mostly clean and well maintained. The bathroom facilities were fairly clean.
I was less impressed with the service. We were welcomed by one of the waitresses upon entering the restaurant, and she was friendly. We were then sat at a table and promptly ignored for the best part of 20 minutes whilst the other tables, which were in clear line of sight and within a metre of our own, were repeatedly serviced. We were then given a menu, which was different, and more restrictive, to that advertised on their website with higher cost and was not available to view via google. We were not supplied with a drinks menu to allow us to check prices prior to ordering. The QR code menu on the table was not functional. A table on which the guests were sat around 15/20 minutes after our arrival was served their food before before we had been able to put our order in. After eating, we were asked if we wanted dessert. We declined and at that stage the waitress took away our drinks before they were finished.
The food was adequate. The tilapia was itself well cooked and soft to the touch but unexciting and rather bland with little seasoning, and was served with fries reminiscent of McDonalds (in appearance and taste) and basmati rice. The accompanying ramekin of mayonnaise I suspect was bottled. My partner's grilled chicken was exactly as described. The Brazilian beans were also adequate but unexciting. I think that there were perhaps other more exciting options on the menu which may be more flavourful but the cost of those items put us off.
The total spend was €40.60 for a main and a soft drink each. For the cost of other restaurants in Cork this is pleasantly cheap. However, for the quality of food provided I do not feel the value for money.
In summary, a beautiful reastaurant but underwhelmed by the service and food.

Read moreMy boyfriend is irish I am brazilian, his favourite snack is "coxinhas" you can find in the menu as chicken nuggets but it is actually a typical brazilian savoury deep fry pastry made of shredded chicken covered with potato base pastry and bread crumbs ( tipically course cassava flour) .
Our dishes were perfectly made, my boyfriend asked for beef strips, I got the "premium topside cut beef" Picanha. He finished by licking his plate.... Making me ashamed.
We were lucky to get a table downstairs at Saturday, lunch time, as seems every brazilian person at cork decided that this is their new favorite spot in town.
The place was pure busy, all the time, there is extra seats upstairs as female and male bathrooms. everything was clean and spotless as a proper brazilian space.
You need to pay at the reception and they will bring your food to the table for you.
The prices were very good and low comparing to an Irish restaurant. The dishes were around 8,00 euro to 11,50, I highly recomend, good quality, and a good portion of food.
I need to say, they dont have soup , but if you are a non fussy person you can ask for the prawns and fish brazilian stew called "moqueca de camarao" as it is a main dish it will be a big good portion for around 11 euro.
They have fries if you are thinking to bring your picky child with you, there is a nice space for...
Read moreI’ve been wanting to go to this restaurant for more than 2 months. From where I live to this restaurant is about 1 hour driving…we were very well welcomed, we ordered torresmo for starters which didn’t look torresmo at all, but we know it’s hard in a foreign country to find the proper one. We ordered 3 different plates and even though they asked us how we wanted our meat it came all wrong, the Meat was TERRIBLE you couldn’t even eat it, the only good thing in our plates was the cold salad and the rice, everything was COLD, NO FLAVOUR, TERRIBLE. We tried to speak with staff present which they showed us some type of attitude and made this experience even worst. When we came downstairs to pay that space was full and busy and the same staff that had some attitude was finally nice to us (and we know why). Very much disappointed, I do not recommend, this is the first Brazilian restaurant that I go and hated it from food to service. Please improve your kitchen skills or lower the price of your menu, I was a restaurant manager for 5 years and I never saw...
