I happened to wander into this place, all jet-lagged and delirious from a v-e-r-y long flight from Austin, Tx and lo and behold, these two handsome, intelligent baristas just made my day. The coffee and petit pain au chocolat were good but the vibe is what would make me come back again. These guys are fun, generous, chatty and helpful. Great service and great recommendations for what’s really going on in this town. Definitely recommend starting at Some Dose for all traveler’s needing to set their bearings for their visit to this...

The owners are exceptional people who care for their staff and work themselves to the ground (pun intended) to deliver an unbelievable product.

I love seeing old shops being bought back to life, and it’s great to see Some Dose open up in this old shop in Turner’s Cross, a short distance from Tory Top road.

Inside is bright & white, with a few bench seats and window seats. The coffees are excellent and there’s also a lovely selection of fresh pastries. Plus you can also buy from a little range of grocery items. And dogs are very welcome....
