Overall, it’s a very good spot right next to the stadium with some very tasty food and relatively cheap pints. The atmosphere is super comfy - although a bit hot for summer - and the live musicians they called in to play there were very good and super friendly! The only thing that bugged me a little was how rushed the service felt after their kitchen closed. The pub stays open until 00:30 on Saturdays, but the kitchen closes at 20:00 and we had just gotten our food and were starting to eat. At 20:30, the waitresses started to collect our plates and it felt kind of awkward. To be fair, we left work at 19:00 and asked our friends to order the food for us. we got there 30 minutes before the kitchen closed. But, to be honest, I thought that both the waiting staff and KP staff would be there for an hour or so after kitchen closing. But, overall, it didn’t affect much on the whole experience. I’ve learnt my lesson and I will definitely visit it again

Excellent food. Amazing steak fries - best ever. No photo as it was gone too quickly. Beautiful mushroom toast. Going back for more!!

A family friendly pub with great food and service. They have free WiFi and excellent climate controls however it can be very loud.

Very bad customer service, will not return! Prebooked a table due to covid a week before the date we were due to arrive. We were left waiting 10-15mins to be seated and wasn't asked if we wanted a drink. Was left seated without any drinks for another 20 minutes. My friend actually had to go up to the bar and asked if we could be served. When the drinks were finally brought over to us we never received an apology for the delay and the person serving our drinks slammed them onto the table. There were "locals" there who were served constantly throughout the evening yet we were ignored. We were asked to leave as it was time but the locals were still there drinking on. Very biased bar, would not recommend to any newcomers, go to the corner flag the service there is FAR...

This place is recently opened in mid 2017. Ive only been here once but i have to say i was really impressed by how clean it was and has a very modern upbeat bright look about it. I had 2 pints there and i found for the most of the time i was there i was ready the newspaper articles on the walls or looking at the old sports photographs from all over cork some of recent times and some of times that are long gone memories. Its just a 5 minute walk from turners cross soccer stadium if your going to see a cork city match and maybe 15 minutes from the independent park if your off to watch a munster game. All in all a lovely warm place to have a pint and plenty of space to have a sit down. Looking forward to...
