KFC Letterkenny - Port Road — Restaurant in County Donegal

Stunned how dirty every table was. Arrivrd at 7.50pm 15/10/25 Ordered food up and asked for a clean table. Every table was dirty and old food wraps abound. The serving agent moaned she hadnt had the time to clean them. She then came out and cleaned one table before returning to counter flung the cloth on the counter. It fell on the floor she picked it up and put it back on the counter. Then went to start serving the food. I had to challenge her as to if she was going to wash her hands. She seemed upset at the thought that I was concerned for my foods hygene. Whilst we were seated eating , she came iut with ine cloth(I believe this to be same one as before) wiped some tables and rrays using it without washing it out or any other product. Then proceeded to empty the bin bags transferring some rubbish by hand from one to another bare handed. Her long sleeves dipping into the rubbish. Before walking arounda table which she placed her hand that had been handling dirty rubbish onto the surface TWICE. At that point I challenged the duty manager. Excuses tgat not enough staff. The site was not busy and no excuse for poor hygene or bad planning. No seat was wiped. So in this present climate of flu, covid and noravirus you would expect some good housekeeping. My wife and I visited here around 3rd March 2016 at night when the only customers inside were a woman with 3 small children. The first thing I noticed was the empty food and drink containers and trays left on three of the tables. We placed our order and were told our food would be brought out to us. The table we sat at was dirty so I went back up to the counter to ask the staff to clean it. The girl asked one of the guys, who was standing in the kitchen area playing with his mobile phone, to clean the table. The guy came over and wiped my table with a cloth but was about to leave without cleaning my wife's table. We both at the same time stopped him from leaving and asked him to clean that table also. He then proceeded to clean every table in the place with the same cloth, but with no cleaning agent. I then went to the counter to collect the food as it seemed to take a long time to prepare. The food was of very poor quality and not like what they show you on their menus. That experience has put me off...

what a bunch of cowboys you are, just been into KFC in Letterkenny tried to order at the till, but told no, have to order at the board, when the order came, there were 2 drumsticks which I don't like, and tried to explain that as I tried to order at the till and explain this, the server went to another team member who then said that I had no choice, even though while ordering it doesn't say comes with drumsticks wether you like or not.
