Sakura Asian Street Food — Restaurant in County Galway

The best way to paint a picture of Sakura is: once I tried their food, I went back for it 3 times in 5 days. Also, this is the first time that I'm writing a review for anything, because I really want people to know how big of a gem this place is.

It is absolutely fantastic in every possible sense, and without a doubt my best take-away/dining experience. I haven't been a big fan of Asian cuisine, more like Italian and Mexican, but that changed drastically after Sakura. The food is way tastier, way healthier and (for the quality) way more affordable than any other restaurant. This is the type of a place where you are absolutely ecstatic to spend your money because you are guaranteed to get an other-wordly experience and you know that you are supporting people who are just the best at what they do.

Just go for it and your taste buds and your tummy will be very grateful to you. I highly recommend Age Futomaki and Prawn Tempura Avocado Maki. Thank you Sakura for such wonderful...

Its one of my locals, I've been ordering here for past few years! I like it- never had a problem.

Ordered one of my regular dishes and it was way too spicy (never like that before) they wouldn't even replace it. I had to argue with the woman on the phone until she said she would get the driver to come and collect it so that the chef could taste it 😂😂😂

He obviously tasted it and they decided to send me back only the portion of the Bento box that I didn't eat (ie didn't put in new sushi or goyza). No kind of apology 😂 shocked- genuinely!!

I'll move on to some place who values their costumer experience.... Papa rich is gorgeous guys and good sushi in town!

Seems Sakuras responses to any negative feedback is to blame the costomer...

I suspect a lot of the poor ratings here come from people whose idea of fine cuisine is either boiled cabbage and potatoes or a garlic-cheese chip.

My girlfriend and I were so hungry, we forgot to take a photo and just horsed into the sushi right away, which is unfortunate, because the food looked great, which is important with sushi. What we didn't regret, was the sushi itself.

Sushi isn't cheap, nor should it be, because cheap sushi is bad sushi, but this sushi was amazing! Really fresh fish, prepared with perfectly cooked rice. This sushi is right up there with the best sushi my girlfriend and I had living in Asia.
