Exquisite Japanese Dining Experience!

I've been a frequent visitor to Michie Sushi Sandyford and each visit reaffirms my love for this gem. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

The freshness of the food is unparalleled, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors that transport you straight to Japan. Whether it's the sushi, which is always meticulously prepared with the finest ingredients, or the savory ramen that comforts the soul, every bite is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality.

The service is consistently excellent. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to make recommendations that suit your palate. They truly go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable dining experience.

What makes Michie Sushi even more appealing is the affordability of such high-quality food. It's rare to find a place that offers both exquisite cuisine and reasonable prices, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions.

If you're looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience with fresh, high-quality food and exceptional service, look no further. It's a place I frequent and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to indulge in the best Japanese...

Michie Sushi is a great addition to the food court at the Beacon Court Sandyford, but here goes.

Eating at the restaurant is nice. The place is clean and the atmosphere is so relaxing and pleasant. The lady who works service counter and tables during weekday lunchtimes is an angel, she is attentive, professional and polite. Most lunchtime deals come with miso soup and the prices are really affordable honestly. If you are getting delivery from here through Deliveroo expect your delivery to be 20-30 mins late. They use their own driver so this can not be blamed on Deliveroo.

The food - you can expect the rice to be extremely bland compared to Japanese standard. The sushi fish is middle range and not amazing. This is not an authentic Japanese experience, just a Japanese fast food really. But it is cheaper than other restaurants so perhaps this is forgivable. I have tried the chicken dishes too and the meat tastes microwaved and hard. I also don't understand why they serve cold edamame beans with the bento box. They should be hot.

Overall if you are nearby and want a relaxing lunchtime and want to fill your Japanese style food craving for a reasonable price, you should go here. But don't go here expecting an all out Japanese experience with...

First time in a sushi restaurant so was abit reluctant at first. But the wife loves sushi so said I d give it a go. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be a understatement. From the moment we stepped foot in the door the experience was fantastic. The waiter was extremely welcoming and friendly and accommodating as we had a pram with us that takes up a good bit of space . But they didn't hesitate to sort that for us. The restaurant is also spotless. Onto the food the main thing in any restaurant. The wife picked out a few different bits from menu all of which was fresh, tasty and fantastically presented. I stuck to 2 dishes starter and main which where both fantastic to. All in all this is a fantastic place for food. For the amount of food we ordered I expected it to be expensive considering it is a sushi restaurant. But I have to say it is good value for money to. Great...

I'm a big sushi fan and decided to give michie sushi a go since I was far from my usual spot. I never leave reviews unless seriously impressed or seriously disappointed. Here's a few points: Pros: -Fresh fish and decent portions for the nigiri, temaki and hosomaki. -Decent gyoza (frozen) -Friendly staff Cons: -The rice in sushi tasted bland -Miso soup had 0 miso taste, more like boiled water and spring onion, no joke! -Mochi desert not sweet enough and probably frozen/ bought in too -Even the seaweed garnish had 0 taste. Throw some sesame oil or something on it for Christ sake And last but not least the worse portion of sashimi I've ever seen. Fresh fish but outrageously small Tuna for €10! (see pic) This was not even close to being Japanese sushi, decent if you hungry or hungover but if you looking for GOOD sushi, look elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Quite disappointed by this first experience trying their sushi. As a big sushi fan, I heard quite good reviews about this franchise but overall I feel as though it was not accurate. I ordered the popular Tiger Roll and the Tuna Maki. The tiger roll was okay for the most part. The rice was not as fresh as I would have liked and felt that it was quite dry/grainy. The side ginger slices were also quite dry. The tuna maki was 6 small portions of sushi disappointment. The first bite told it all, and I found the rice again was dry/grainy, and the fish was not too fresh. It felt like the kind of sushi you buy from the fridge section of a supermarket. Not impressed, and was not tasty at all. Overall I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends or other sushi enthusiasts.
