Subway — Restaurant in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

Woeful Subway, I worked in paramount court for a while in 2018-2020 and used to get it occasionally and every time i went there was always some form of issue. Today was the last straw, I'm now working in Deansgrange (15 mins drive away)

Myself & a colleague ordered a meal and a 6 inch. They arrived an hour and a half later, the subs were never even toasted our cheese was solid, they also forgot the crisps, cookie and drink. We tried calling them, the phone rang out 10 times, so obviously nobody is bothered enough to answer.

Thankfully I got through to a lovely man on Just Eat and he processed a full refund. However I won't be ordering from this subway again. I get people make mistakes but the fact it's constantly shi**e since 2018? Something needs a change and im thinking it's whatever piss poor managers they have in there "training" the staff and drivers.

Where do I get started, parking is pretty much non existent. I head up for my lunch, looking forward to one of those new subway all day breakfast roll, now it’s sounds amazing but wait till I paint this picture to you, I go up the stairs to the shiny glass keeping the condiments safe from eager hands, now for the sandwich it’s stacked to the dough with sausage patty’s(weird huh), some bacon, hash browns and a poor excuse for eggs, as she was toasting it I was tempted to run out the door as her back turned but I thought let’s try this sorry excuse for a sandwich, I got back in my car in the non existent sorry excuse for a car park and was blocked in by 3 cars, felt like I was playing Tetris trying to leave the car park, got back to work and finished half my roll before my stomach told my mouth to please stop, never...

The food was good, typical subway standard

My issue was the staff member and that the sign outside the door, where a meal was advertised for €5.50. when I asked about this the staff member stated that the signs mentions "from €5.50" which is clearly not the case (see image attached).

I asked him what meal is €5.50, he said he doesn't think any of them are €5.50, and couldn't tell me what was. He also stated that "everybody asks that". Well, in that case, do something about it.

And another gripe .... I was in there just after 3.30pm on a Saturday, when the store closes at 5. The same staff member said to me, while making my sandwich (and not before) that it's takeaway only. In other words, don't dare take a seat and potentially make him have to clean up after you.
