Had an awful experience Friday early evening a few weeks ago. As the evening continued, the star rating dropped with concern after concern. Firstly, when we were seated we were asked if we wanted water, they then put a large carafe of water on the table, the whole bottom of the carafe was green with algae/mould.
The atmosphere is cute and I love the layout, so I had higher expectations. I ordered Gluten Free seafood pasta - the pasta was incredibly overcooked, there was very little seafood, the portion size was quite small for the price and lastly the sauce tasted like it came from a jar.
My husband was happy with his lasagna, although not the garlic bread as it was more of a focaccia.
We didn’t have starters and were still hungry, so we decided to order a Gluten-free pizza to share and take some home takeaway. We waited 45mins for the pizza, even though the restaurant had emptied a lot since we originally got there. No one came to explain to us or apologise. We ordered extra rocket, but never got it and were charged. On top of that the pizza was borderline cooked and when we sent it back to ask if they could cook it more they said no because then they’d have to clean the oven and they didn’t want to.
I explained I was coeliac, just intolerant so if there’s remnants of gluten it’s fine, please put it in. They did and it came back right. If I’d been coeliac would I have been expected to eat a raw pizza?
From the time we ordered the pizza, sent it back, ate it etc. +- 90mins, a waiter maybe came twice and our original waiter was no where to be seen, even though they weren’t nearly as busy as when we got there.
I had made a reservation for the Saturday, but we went on the Friday and thought if it’s really good we’ll just go both nights. Needless to say I cancelled the Saturday booking and will never return nor recommend. It’s a pity because it’s a cute restaurant and the menu inspired a lot...

I recently dined at Al Bochetto, and it was an experience that truly stood out in my global pizza adventures. This charming restaurant captivates you with its perfect ambience, enhanced by the soothing melodies of Italian music, creating a complete and delightful setting.
The culinary journey began with a serving of garlic bread, which struck a perfect balance between crispy and soft, bursting with flavor. But the star of the evening was undoubtedly the pizza. It was a masterpiece of textures, combining a fluffy yet crunchy crust with a juiciness that made each bite a moment of pure joy. It was, quite frankly, a little sad to finish such a perfect pizza.
The staff at Al Bochetto added to the experience with their friendliness, making the dining atmosphere even more pleasant. To top it off, the panna cotta dessert was a creamy dream, leaving a sweet endnote to an exceptional meal.
In conclusion, Al Bochetto is a must-visit for any pizza enthusiast. It’s a place where every element comes together to create a memorable dining experience. Congratulations to the team for making it one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my extensive travels. Highly...
Read moreI'm in love with the food quality in Al Boschetto, and the quantity. We had an amazing family time here.
My son loved his lasagna and we all enjoyed our dishes from starter to main. Unfortunately, we didn't have place for dessert but next time we will try some for sure.
The place is also huge. It does looks tiny from outside but it's massive.
We didn't get pizza either but we saw the one our neighbor table got and wow, it does make me want pizza right now.
The wine was lovely, they also have non alcoholic beer (for my pregnant wife) and milk for the little man.
The atmosphere was great. Really good Italian songs and some Italian version of very famous songs in Spanish.
The staff was also great. Very fast and friendly. It was indeed a great experience and I'm looking forward to go back but next time, just with my wife for a romantic dinner. It's the perfect...
