Attended with a group of 5. The menu prices were not reflective of the amount of food served. The menu had various menu items described as 'curry'. We all know there are very many different types of curry. We asked our waitress what type of curry it was and she looked confused and we tried to give her examples of curry names and she had no idea, didn't offer to get more information about it. They charged 14 euros for a main dish which was the size of a starter and we had to order a side with it. The mango lassi and dry fruit lassi weren't lassi. They were served in a bowl and very thick. We have never had lassi in a bowl, on asking about this we were told that it was to prevent waste. We should have been told about that at the point of ordering. The place we were sat was cold and they tried to make us feel like we were warm by having a fire place gif playing on the wall. We were not fooled. The bathroom was dirty and could have done with some regular cleaning. We gave feedback at the point of the bill and initially were told it would be passed on and there was no offer of money off the bill. We then stated we were not happy with the price for the portion sizes. The waitress then took some money off and we asked to see a manager at that point she went to get him and came back to tell us he was busy! The place was basically empty and we had to insist and we waited for him to come out. He stated we could not compare prices with other businesses and then did give us more money off. They handled the complaint by taking money off but it felt like it was falling on deaf ears. They stated we were the first customers to ever have complained about portion sizes. We have seen that there are other reviews that reflect our exact experiences 5 months ago so that confirms feedback is not acted on. Our aim is not to be critical for the sake of it but to provide constructive criticism. There is so much potential here but it feels like the grab for money is overtaking the intention of running an honest business that provides a good service that reflects it's pricing. We are still hungry.

Reply: Just had to respond to the response. You are more interested in spouting hate toward where we said we are from rather than improving his business. He claimed not to be the owner when we spoke to him in the restaurant and on here is the owner?! One of our party was clearly a Dublin local. Not that I really get the relevance of that. We said 50% because that was what we were served was worth. We have been to many places and spent well above 100 euros but we don't believe in...

#Halal #Indian I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Tiffins, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Led by the talented Chef Saqlain Arab, this restaurant offers an array of delectable dishes that take you on a culinary journey like no other.

The Chicken Biryani prepared by Chef Saqlain Arab was simply exceptional. It showcased the perfect balance of aromatic spices, tender chicken, and fragrant basmati rice. Every bite transported me to the heart of India, with its homely and authentic flavors. It was, without a doubt, the best Chicken Biryani I have ever had in Dublin.

In addition to their Indian specialties, Indian Tiffins also offers an Indo-Chinese menu that is unparalleled in Dublin. The Schezwan noodles were a revelation—a harmonious blend of spicy, tangy, and savory flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The triple fried rice was another standout dish, with each grain perfectly cooked and infused with delicious flavors.

One cannot help but praise the incredible talent and skill of Chef Saqlain Arab. His expertise in crafting flavors that are both authentic and unique is truly commendable. It is evident that he pours his heart and soul into each dish, ensuring that every bite is a memorable experience for the diners. Chef Saqlain's passion for his craft shines through in every aspect of his culinary creations.

The restaurant itself is a delightful space, with an inviting atmosphere and attentive staff. The service was prompt, and the staff members were knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations to enhance our dining experience.

Indian Tiffins, under the guidance of Chef Saqlain Arab, is a true gem in Dublin's culinary scene. It is a place where food is not just a meal but a sensory adventure that captivates your taste buds. I highly recommend visiting Indian Tiffins to savor the exquisite flavors and experience the culinary brilliance brought to life by Chef...

On social media, this place attracted a lot of buzz, so I decided to visit. I am not aware of any other restaurant in Dublin that serves authentic Indo-Chinese cuisine, decided to give it a try. I had high hopes since I have visited their other outlet in Parnell Street. We ordered the Schezwan Chicken Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice, Vegetable Biriyani, Mango Lassi and Dry fruit Lassi. I am really disappointed by the taste of all of them, because none of them had an authentic flavour to them. Schezwan noodles tasted like normal noodles; I'm not sure what makes them different from other noodles. I was expecting at least paneer or potatoes in the vegetable biriyani; it was more like a pulav with onions and green peas. Despite the quantity of chicken fried rice, there were fewer chicken pieces. We also ordered Lassi and expected it to be delivered in a glass for 4 Euros. Instead, it is served in a bowl similar to that used to serve gulab jamun. Mango lassi tasted more like mango purée (this was the best of the restaurant's offerings- but there were only 4-5 tablespoons). The Dry fruit lassi was more like a small bowl of beaten yogurt with dry fruit shavings on top. The quantity was same like the Mango lassi in a small bowl. The idea of trying Indo-Chinese food really excited me. I am writing this review just to improve the restaurant, and I have no hatred for the them. As they are just getting started in the new location, I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of improvement in the next few days from the menu that is quite different from the one on Parnell Street.
