Perfect new spot for coffees and breakfast. There are no many places like this in the neighbourhood. This restaurant is spacious but cosy. Nice music in the background and warm lighting makes it really welcoming and relaxing. Staff is very friendly and attentive. There is a fantastic selection of options for breakfast. I love the choice! Main breakfast options come with tea or ANY coffee included-wow! Cappuccino & Flat White were really nice and „warm” which is sometimes hard to get. We went for pancakes = great quality and taste, Option 2 = perfect size, taste and presentation, full Irish breakfast = great presentation and selection (I just prefer traditional button mushrooms. The one served there are not my cup of tea). Overall we really enjoyed breakfast there. Good quality, good price, excellent atmosphere and service.

I had an amazing dining experience at L‘vie coffee . From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, making sure that everything was perfect throughout the meal. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Beef Teppan Teriyaki, which was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a great variety, and there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for classic favorites or something more adventurous. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for both a casual meal and a special occasion. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

My husband and I live 10 minutes walk from this restaurant. We had dinner here on the bank holiday Friday. My husband had the prawn starter which was delicious. We both had the chicken dinner and it was lovely. We shared the raspberry Bakewell and again it was really nice. There is a wine and beer menu also. All together a lovely place we had a nice booth very relaxed and the waitress was efficient and lovely. Outstanding overall and just a short walk from our doorstep

Review of L'vie Cafe

We visited L'vie Cafe as a family of three with high expectations, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We paid €52 for three meals, which would have been reasonable if the quality and portion sizes had matched the price.

One of the most disappointing aspects was my son's meal—chicken goujons and chips—which consisted of just three small goujons and a handful of fries. It felt more like a side dish than a full meal.

I ordered the Chinese stir-fry noodles, which arrived partially warm, indicating they hadn't been heated properly. The flavors were underwhelming, and to be honest, I could have gotten a better, hotter, and more flavorful meal from a takeaway for a lower price.

My wife went for the fish and chips, and from both the texture and taste, it seemed like it was made from frozen ingredients, possibly from a Donegal Catch frozen bag. It lacked freshness and quality, which was disappointing for a dish that should be simple yet enjoyable.

Overall, the experience was far below expectations. The portions were small, the food wasn’t properly heated, and everything tasted like reheated frozen food rather than fresh, well-prepared dishes. Considering the high price, it felt extremely overpriced for what we received.

We won’t be returning, as there are far better options elsewhere for the same or...

L'Vie café is a Pearl! THE MUST GO PLACE!!! The Love and attention are everywhere!!!! I went there first for breakfast, i had the Sourdough bread, rillettes et chipolte eggs.... i was served a very well designed dish, the presentation was excellent and the flavours perfectly balanced... Extremly yummy!!!!! I came back for dinner with my partner, The expérience brought us to another level! The menu was short, but well crafted. Letting me imagine that everything was fresh and made out from scratch. We had the steak and the salmon...both plates were excellent, perfectly cooked and very well presented! The attention to detail is brought to à level i could not imagine for this area of town... The décor is classy and cosy The service and the food are made with love L'Vie café is a beautiful place, own by beautiful people, passionate chefs that deserve everyone to come, sit down and taste there food....places like that are rare and L'Vie deserve to be known! I will go back there and taste it all!

Thank you so much for opening up in my neighbourhood!

See you...
