The place is quite large and very nicely decorated, it gets busy so it's nice to have a booking but big enough that you can also walk-in and they probably have a spot for you. The first time we didn't have a booking and were sat at the bar beside the kitchen, which was nice to see the chef and her team at work! The food was delicious and original. The second time we did book it for an Easter Monday lunch and we had the set starters and the lamb roast. The starters were delightful, I especially liked the potato skins - the roast was lamb belly, which is a cut you don't see too often, and it was great! The gravy and mint jelly were flavourful and a good amount of both on the plate. We tried the 3 available desserts (banan parfait, cheesecake and easter egg dessert. Very nice mix of textures and flavours on them, special mention to the banana parfait!

unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the high expectations. One of the first disappointments was the padrón peppers, which were clearly misrepresented as padróns but were, in fact, shishito peppers. Not only that, but they were of noticeably lower quality than I had anticipated. To make matters worse, they were underdone, with a raw and unpleasant crunch that ruined what should have been a simple, flavorful dish. Next, the orzo was another letdown. Served cold, it lacked the creamy texture and depth of flavor you’d expect from a well-executed risotto. The orzo felt dry and undercooked, completely missing the mark. It was difficult to believe this was a dish from a Michelin-level restaurant, where the attention to detail should be impeccable.

The true question about Lottie's is what is better - the cocktails or the food. I honestly cannot tell as both were absolutely magnificent. I visited Lottie's on a Friday evening and enjoyed the "Early evening menu". As the Guide Michelin, awarding the venue for the second year in a row with "Bib Gourmand" (rightfully so!) points out correctly - the menu is a true bargain. Three courses for 40€ needs no more words. Quality, quantity and taste were fantastic. I also enjoyed two of their signature cocktails - the "Hazelnut's Old Fashioned" and a "Salted Caramel Espresso Martini" which were a true joy as well. If I ever get back to Dublin, I know where my first stop will be.

My wife and i were with another couple. My first time to dine in this restaurant. I ordered the Paella starter which is also a main course. Absolutely awful. It looked and tasted liked overnight porridge. Nothing whatsoever like Paella 0/10. The main course my friend and i ordered a steak and wagu beef. On the plate a small sliver of steak sliced in 5 small peices, distracted by a huge mound of dark cabbage, and wagu beef ( mince meet in a pastra wrap). The steak i chewed but couldn't swallow and embarrasingly in company had to put back on the plate. My friend left his chewed meat back on the plate. My wife tried and same. Awful. My wife and her friend ordered seabream, it arrived swimming in a broth, tasteless and overcooked. We ordered at 8.30pm, and it was after 10pm before the mains arrived. The delay in the kitchen not to mention the food was the worst i have ever experienced. Lotties is a restaurant in name, but thats ir. Atmosphere and ambience seemed good and sime big groups but im wondering did they not feel cheated also? i dont get the unisex toilet, some women suprised to be sharing with men there. Here is my final marks for this place: Food 0/5 Wine 2/5 for price Starter 2/5 Main course 1/5 Desert 2/5 Service 3/5 not their fault, chef and those cooking the food were awful, 90 minutes wait to main course is poor . Final bill 337 euro plus added our 10% tip 37 euro total 375euro This place should be shut down, food is a scam. Maybe wpuld be good as a wine bar but not to serve what they call 'food'. Dont believe this review? Look at trip advisor, unfortunately this was booked by my wifes friend as i normally do my...

I recently visited with my partner to try their Valentine’s menu. The staff were welcoming, but the service felt rushed, likely due to the crowd. Unfortunately, this impacted the atmosphere, as dishes were brought out one after another with very little time in between courses, making the meal feel hurried.

The Valentine cocktail was tasty but arrived only when we were having the main dish, which was a bit disappointing. The snack and starter were fairly average in terms of flavor. For the main course, we chose the dry-aged sirloin steak. While it was cooked well, it was overly salty, to the point where the salt overpowered the flavor of the meat. On the positive side, the roasted potatoes were well-cooked and properly seasoned.

However, the biggest letdown was the dessert – a chocolate cake with a crème-flavored ice cream. The cake was dry, floury, and far below expectations, especially since a chocolate cake isn’t typically hard to get right.

Overall, the price was reasonable for the portion sizes and variety, but if you’re seeking dishes with refined, standout flavors, I wouldn’t recommend it. To be fair, this was the Valentine’s menu, so it might not fully reflect the restaurant’s...

We loved our dinner at Lottie’s! The food was very good. We had the potato skins and peppers as a snack. We really liked the potato skins, the peppers were nice too but not super special. We both had the Butcher’s Secret as our main, which was incredible.

Often times you order a steak somewhere and it’s just that: a steak, with nothing special to remember it by. This time the steak had a great flavor (as if it was charcoal grilled or something like that) with a very tasty sauce. It definitely left us with a great impression.

The staff is super friendly and attentive. You never have to wait long to order something and they take every request serious. When I inquired about the gluten free options, the chef came to our table to explain what’s all possible. Very professional and knowledgeable staff.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant in Dublin if you’re looking for something a bit more special than your typical steak/burger with fries which you find in so many restaurants here. A bit more pricey, sure, but it also was...
