My girlfriend ordered from krispy-Kreme Blanchardstown click and collect on Friday the 7th December for collection on Friday the 13th, for the festive dozen to bring whilst we were visiting family. Never received any confirmation of order (despite of course the money coming out). She contacted customer service multiple times to resolve the issue and obtain an order number for collection and the customer service emails were responded in a very flaky manner by Lauren and Erin. After providing proof of the money coming out of her account she didn’t hear back for days, despite the customer service having ample time to send out festive dozens to all social influencers in Dublin. Very disappointing to see that they are more concerned with providing free boxes to socialites rather than helping paying customers who keep them in business. Having eventually obtained an invoice once they were satisfied she did pay, I then went to collect on Friday the 13th, was told they weren’t sure if the money had come out and they had to then call customer service themselves. The box was provided like so, obviously not the “festive” dozen she ordered, which was again disappointing as we were visiting family with the donuts. The customer service girls had offered to send vouchers as an apology and had promised they had gone out in the post on the same day - surprise surprise they’ve not arrived in the post a week later despite the fact we live 5 minutes down the road! Needless to say, the quality and taste of donuts has declined since opening last year and we won’t be bothering with them anymore. They definitely aren’t as fresh or tasty as they used to be.

Having partaken of the rite of worship at this temple of American consumerism, I must atone for my sin of being influenced by...advertising. I am contrite. Half a dozen (which is more characters than just 6, and apparently Google cares about that kind of thing) mixed doughnuts cost €14. As they are individually priced at €2.95, this is meant to convince you that you have saved €4, to assuage your guilt over your own unspeakable stupidity of spending that much on six confections. The doughnuts are nice. The raspberry jam filled one is one of the two best jam filled doughnuts I've eaten. The expensive business rates and building costs to make a performance out of sugar and deep fried dough however must be paid for. Do I know what I'm talking about? Google says I'm in the top 10% of bakery reviewers. What have I been doing with my life? Should I update my LinkedIn profile? I will. It's the same level of stupidity after all. Now so this review won't be entirely worthless, here are two redeeming items. The first is a picture of one of dogs. She's a gorgeous and very good girl. The second is that the other best jam filled doughnuts I've had are a Tesco bag of four which recently cost me €1.50.

The donuts here are amazing. I mean the original glazed donuts. They are sublime. Warm and gooey and sweet. It would cure any sugaraholic’s craving. The other filled donuts were heavy and felt more like cakes to me (it could differ for other people, just my opinion here) therefore I didn’t enjoy them as much. I however do recommend everyone try the glazed donuts as they are spectacular. The staff in the drive thru and inside the dome are quite friendly and patient while you make up your mind which is a huge plus in my eyes. Wait times are decent and you get what you ordered into record time. Pretty glad such a joint has come to Dublin.

Went into the store today as I Havent went in a long time. Really wanted a Krispy Kreame donut, I asked the cashier about the price for a single donut or before I could even get a word in she was very rude and rudely told me to wait as another gentlemen was still making a decision on what he wanted, basically I wanted to see the better value for myself so I wasn’t sure about the price on the donuts as they were displaying two separate prices. Anyways, I just let it pass and kept quiet till she was ready to serve me. As I was looking at the display of donuts to see what I wanted myself I could see several wasps (bees) and flies swarming on top of a few donuts and I also noticed that they weren’t just on the displayed they were also onn the donuts that were actually on the conveyor belts. I mention this to the cashier and she was still rude as in her voice “I know” in a very rude tone. I then asked for her name and again rudely rejected and said (No, No, I don’t have to give you my name) extremely rude. She said if I want a manager I can get you a supervisor she said.

If she had not been the way she was I would have said it was okay and been on my way, just the fact her attitude was horrible I requested the supervisor.

The supervisor came and I told her what happen, the supervisor said that it was in their right and policy not to have to give a name to customers, she didn’t even apologise for the rudeness of her staff.

I then mention about the flies and wasps and the supervisor said that there was noting she could do about it.

The main enterance door was wide open and didn’t even close since I was there, I mention that the door should be closed then so that the food won’t have any infestation from the bugs, her reply was “The door is open because it’s too hot”

So customers are buying their donuts with bugs being sitting on them. That’s my thoughts because the staff are too hot? I was quite disgusted by the staffs attitude and told the supervisor I will leave a bad review.

I left and the supervisor tried to keep talking to me. I didn’t bother to listen and...

I went to KK last Saturday 5th Feb at 10.30pm. I had a terrible experience which then changed to a decent one. I was travelling to County Kerry the following day so my friends in Kerry had asked for some KK donuts. They had given me their order and had told me to get whatever they have incase their preferred donuts are unavailable. As I went to the drive thru, the guy taking orders says to me in his Dublin accent "I'll be widja in a minute", I waited and waited until I had to move as the car infront had taken their order and gone, as soon as I went to the window I distinctly heard him from behind (window was open) asking the car behind me "what can I get for ya", I put it down to the fact that he was busy and probably just finished as I moved ahead. I got to the window and asked the boy who's name was Aldren if they had what I was looking for and he said they only had plain glazed and Nutella, I decided not to purchase anything and left but remembered as I was driving away that the lads had told me to get anything available incase they didn't have the specific order so I decided to go round again. To my utter amazement, I had the exact same experience from the guy taking the orders "I'll be widja in a minute" and then as I moved he immediately takes the order from the car behind me. I was absolutely livid. I was sure it was racist or Islamaphobic as I'm a keen practicing Muslim and felt he probably profiled and just didn't want to serve me. I immediately complained to Aldren who was at the window again and he was exceptionally good to me. He offered me a free box of donuts which I gladly accepted. I sincerely hope that KK takes this incident seriously and takes the necessary action and measures to avoid anything like this ever from...

Overpriced and over rated. I waited in a queue for ages last week to get a treat to some people I knew that were working around the clock under very severe conditions. I couldn't see what was on offer because the only place any items or prices were on display were right up at the top at the desk. If there had been a couple of boards up showing what they had along with a price list I think it would run its queues better. People would be able to see and make up their minds about what they wanted before they got up to the top. It would be smoother and no one would be craning their necks over the next persons shoulder to see what's there. I purchased the Christmas box and was told by the man that was serving me that I could get an extra one for €8.00. I took the man up on the offer and thanked him for letting me know. When I got back to my car, it turned out that it was a plain box i.e. no toppings and they looked horrible. I had to qo back and queue up yet again. And I think everyone on the planet now knows how atritious their queues are, so I was very disatisfied and I told the man but he just shrugged and pointed off to somewhere and said it's up there. I'm still looking to see where and he just walking.. I bought another Christmas box of the donuts but I was left with a box of plain donuts that I paid €8 for that I didn't want. And no one else wanted them either. They need to advertise their products and their prices better inside the store so that people aren't sold something that is wrong for them and that they are also not left waiting in a queue for such a long time. They need to come up with a new way of working through the COVID to think about keeping their biggest customers in the world, (the people of...
