Milanos blanchardstown. Walk straight by them and go to nandos or McDonald's. The food is absolutely shocking. There was loads around us that came in after us that had their mains eaten before we even got our, what I can only describe as 4 half cooked birds eye chicken dippers and priced at just under a tenner. The pizza was like eating a picture of a pizza. It was basically a wrap with the colour of sauce and cheese, pepperoni and slightly 3D jalapeños. It was called the American hot. I would snap if I was American and to think that cardboard was named after me. I actually cant even call it cardboard because cardboard even has dept to it. This "pizza" did not. Also just under 20e I had a pollo pesto pasta. I didn't even realise it came with chicken until I found a piece of chicken buried in the middle under a piece of pasta and drowned in cheese sauce. The pasta was dried at the sides and stuck to the bowl. My partner got "lasagne " jesus christ it was shocking. Same just drowned in cheese sauce and the tiny layer of pasta was stuck to the side of the bowl. Honestly do not waste your money. Our bill came to 93e and we're still not over it. Im so laid back when it comes to eating out. Im quite easily pleased, but my God never again. We went to whetherspoons after it for a drink and ended up getting more food and that was way more tastier. The only reason it has 1 star is because I have no choice and also the lad that was serving us was a nice chap. He still got his tip, its not his fault that the microwavers send out...
Read moreI visited this place together with my two little daughters, both under the age of 3. The place was packed. The smell.of the food was very tempting. I haven't come across such a wonderfull, friendly and helpful staff as the one in Milano in Blanchardstown SC. As I was getting in with the buggy, one waiter opened the door for me, another one brought 2 high chairs for the girls, and a waitress brought some crayons to keep the girls busy and entertained. We had a lovely meal, they have a great selection of kids meals- one had a small margherita pizza (still a bit too big for her), and the smaller one had tomato pasta. They both had milk to go with their dessert- they loved their little glasses of milk with a straw and the chocolate brownie dissappeared in seconds :-). I'll never forget how helpful one of the waitresses was that actuallly minded the little one for me so I could go with my older one to the toilet. I really enjoyed the food, which was lovely, but it was the staff, who really made my day- they made me feel very relaxed. What a fantastic place! I highly recommend it! We'll certainly be back, as this is a place you want...
Read moreFreshly made food. Pizza was nicely baked. Staff are hardworking and always busy, very eager to please, and are always helpful and polite. Atmosphere can be a little too busy, and at times stressfully noisey. I would prefer a better lit table area as well. Their lighting looks cheap and nasty and does not do the job it should adequately. Choose your time to visit carefully. Busy times are not a relaxing experience. Traditional chips as a side dish are not on offer, Polenta chips are however. ? Two more things to note are that soft drinks, in my case a diet coke delivered in a small glass bottle and a accompanied by a drinking glass cost me €3.50 a pop. I have to mention that when paying by contactless mobile payment the payment device asked if I would like the option to leave a gratuity. I said yes and left a small gratuity as mark of respect for two staff members who were very friendly and helpful to me. However I would have preferred to have made a tip to a staff member as a personal gesture...
